If I could give zero stars I would. For years I was a VERY happy customer of their gutter cleaning and window washing services. Blue Sky also lists carpentry and painting on their list of services so I asked for a bid to rebuild our front porch, replace exterior wood on the house where there were rotten boards- then to touch up the exterior paint. They were willing to start right away and so I jumped in, having happily used their other services for years. They started replacing the wood, and then informed me that we needed to sand then paint the whole house. The workmen sanded the house with orbital *******, and unbeknownst to me, they were sanding using a round motion rather than following the grain of the wood. A week and a half into the project Blue Sky gave us the estimate. It was exorbitant, however, they had sanded a couple sides of the house, and I thought that the painting and carpentry might be worth it in the end. They were here 3 weeks and sanded the lower parts of the exterior, even the remodeled newer construction, and then started to paint. They apparently used bleach solution to soften the exterior paint, which killed our mature landscaping around the house. They were here 7 days a week and left a MESS of paint chips and equipment laying around. I thought when the paint went on that it would look better. It looked HORRIBLE- they used different kinds of paint on each side of the house (some satin, some flat) AND it highlighted the circular sanding mess. We fired them one month after they started (after paying half the estimate) because it looked like kindergarten kids had been painting our house. We had 3 professional painting companies refuse to bid on repairing the damage, because it was so bad. We are now paying another company to repair the damage (as best they can), rebuild the porch (which they never touched), and paint the exterior. DO NOT USE BLUE SKY FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN window washing/gutters.
