We submitted an estimate to this customer (attached) to provide the work that was discussed with our estimator. He approved the estimate and we scheduled the work. We have been licensed in plumbing for over 30 years and we were hired as professionals. We use and used pro press which many plumbing companies do  for residential service. This is our process as the hired professional. The customer was not satisfied with the use of pro press after we had already done the work. He requested us to come back and cut it all out and use sweat (solder) fittings which we typically do not do on service work, pro press is the more expensive and upgraded application, however because we stand behind our work and customer satisfaction is very important to us we agreed to go back at no cost to the customer and cut all the pro press out and re-pipe with sweat fittings. His other complaint was regarding ***************. Due to miscommunication on both parts we installed a floor mount tub with a top feed faucet. He let us know after installation that he actually wanted a wall mount tub. Again to satisfy our customer we were willing to go back at no charge and swap out the floor mount for the wall mount at our expense. We attempted to schedule this to be done and on both sides there were several delays (*************** was on back order and he had a family emergency and was out of town on 2 occasions when we reached out). The customer contacted us a few weeks ago stating that now the sump pumps that we also installed during this service call were malfunctioning and causing back-up. We immediately set up a service call and had a plumber go to his home to address this, again at no charge. Upon arrival it was discovered that the pumps were working fine and the fitting that he stated blew off because of the pumps had nothing to do with the pumps. He disclosed to the plumber the sewer had backed up in his house and put pressure on those old fittings. This was all completely unrelated to our initial install of the pumps.  It was a fitting that was existing and no fault of ours. Again we did not charge for this service call although it was unrelated. We then reached out to the customer as we received *************** that was on back-order to schedule the replacement and additional work he was unhappy with as stated above. At this time he is not wanting to work with us and is asking for a refund. We do not feel that this is a fair request as we performed a lot of work at his home and work was done per ************** Plumbing code. Most of the issues were a result in a lack of communication not insufficient workmanship. We also suspect that any plumbing issues he is having he is tying to this work to receive a refund. We are 100% willing to take care of *************** and pro press fittings at no charge to the customer.

      Complaint: 19511299

I am rejecting this response are as follows

      1. Since Sunday 6/19/22 when I emailed this company the list of issues i was having after they "completed" the work I hired them from they have made no attempt to schedule a date to resolves these issues. I repeatedly had to contact ***** about resolving these issues & was either given excuses or was ignored entirely. After nearly 9 months of patiently waiting to have these issues resolved only once File a complaint with BBB did he bother to reach out to resolve these issues. I have attached screenshots of our conversations starting when the work was scheduled.

      2. The company stated that "We use and used pro press which many plumbing companies do  for residential service" but was never discussed before work had begun & does not show on there estimate/invoice that they would pro press. Further more I specify said that I wanted the pipes to be "sweat (solder)" in.

      3. On 6/15/22 when I came home after the first day of work was completed one of the spigots that were installed was spraying water. I contacted ***** to let him know the issue & he said i was no big deal. Regardless my issue was no so much that the spigot was leaking but that the technician who installed didn't even bother to check to see if it was leaking, which concerns me because if he was that careless what other issues we missed or ignored.

      4. There was garbage left in and around my home including the old water softener that is still filled with water. (Please see attached photos). Along with rags left laid out in my yard for unknown reasons. I did discuss with ***** about leaving the original sink that was replaced and the copper piping, but that was it.

      5. When originally discussed replacing all 3 sill c**** I'd asked to have one shut off installed for all three sill c**** Instead there is a shut off at each sill c*** which required cutting a hole in my drywall that now has to be patch.

      6. When ***** and the other technician arrived in my home Wednesday morning, I just got with them that I want to save space when installing the water filtration/softener system. The way the system was installed waste tons of potential space that I need for other projects that I am completing. I feel as if the technician half hazardly installed the system as easily as possible for him with no regards for what I had explained about wanting to save space.

      7. The sink that was replaced was originally discussed as being wall mounted, but the one that has been installed has legs

      8. Since the sump pumps had been installed more than a dozen times have they back up. In the 10 years i had live at this residence my old sump pumps had never back up, not even once.

I am unable to attach all the photos to proof the issues that were caused by Accurate Plumbing. If more photos are needed please let me know where i can send them.

At the end of the day if these issues had resolved in a timely matter i would have had no issues allow Accurate Plumbing to resolve them but they amount of time & effort I have wasted just have my plumbing issues resolved is beyond ridiculous. I have lost all faith & trust in Accurate Plumbing. I am currently awaiting on another plumbing company to schedule a date that works for them & me for them to redo, fix, & replace everything that Accurate Plumbing did. Once the other company has finished there repairs i'd be happy to give back the sink & sump pumps that Accurate plumbing supplied.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

As stated in our previous response, we acknowledge the time gap for us to return to swap out *************** and cut out all the pro press and replace with sweat copper. We were still willing to take care of this at no additional cost. The sump pumps are **************** and were installed proper. There was an issue as previously stated with one of his pipes bursting. We sent a plumber out immediately and he inspected the pump and found it working properly. There is no way that the sump pump could have caused the fitting he mentioned to burst. This was most liking caused by a sewer back up. Regarding the sill c**** and the drywall repair, we had to open the drywall anyway to replace the rear sill c*** which was part of the work to be done. We supplied and installed a separate shut off valve for each sill c*** This is how we professionally do this because if one sill c*** goes bad you can individually shut that sill c*** off versus shutting all 3 off. The customer never stated he wanted only one for all 3. The water treatment equipment was installed by our plumber to ensure room to replace parts and perform regular maintenance for future. The close proximity of the units that the customer stated he wanted after the install was complete, does not allow for future maintenance. In response to the mess stated that was left in his yard, there was a rag that got left behind accidentally and we sent the plumber back the next day to retrieve it and remove the old water softener unit that was not even included in the estimate. At this time we feel the customers continued complaints are not warranted. I have attached photos of our work. At this time the customer has stated he is not confident in our services and will not allow us to return, although we have done everything professionally and to plumbing code.  We are willing to refund the customer for the following due to miscommunication and that is our final response on this matter. Laundry tub $525.00 and cutting out ********* and re-piping with sweat copper $575.00
