      American Engine Installation (AEI) agreed to install a new engine and original equipment parts in my 2008 Jeep Commander for $5k ended at over $7k and to warranty the engine for a period of three years. Beginning in 2020 and continuing for six months until February 2021 the car was taken back to AEI constantly for overheating, leaks, pressure build up, antifreeze consumption, electrical issues, hoses that burst, oil leaks, check engine lights, etc. The car still to this date runs poorly and has had a continuous check engine light displayed. Each time the car was returned, AEI claimed that there was nothing wrong. I took the car to the Jeep and presented AEI with the issues they found. AEI charged me for repairs claimed to use new original equipment parts charged for new but fraudulently installed used and aftermarket parts. I insisted on an independent inspector and demonstrated the issues that existed then left the car for repairs and AEI removed parts and sabotaged the vehicle.

      We at American Engine Installation are committed to giving our customers high quality service. We strive to provide the best and reliable services possible. Automobile engine repairs and/or replacement contracts are written specifically to highlight what is being replaced and/or repaired. We also document the parts required, if after market or *** will be used (per customer preference) and labor cost. We review all services with customer and educate them as to what parts are needed to complete the repair. When an engine is replaced, a detail warranty is provided and reviewed with the customer and a signature is required to make sure both parties are aware.

      Its unfortunate that **************** is unhappy with the engine installed in his vehicle. We have addressed all his concerns and answered all questions regarding **************** concerns to the best of our ability. Since we completed the initial repairs to the vehicle, it has been checked numerous times by myself and my team to assure **************** that we have tested the vehicle, checked the vehicle and to assure him that nothing is wrong with the vehicle. We have also contacted a 3rd party to do a complete inspection of the vehicle as well with **************** present during the entire consultation of the vehicle that concluded that there was no malfunction with the engine or installation of the engine to the vehicle. Originally, **************** opted for after market parts for the *** parts. Even after his complaint to us of his concerns, we replaced the after market parts for ***  only charging him for the parts and waiving all other labor cost. We have addressed all his complaints and we have worked with **************** as much as we could. Unfortunately,  what **************** is looking to have happen we were unable to do due to the fact nothing is wrong with the engine installed into his vehicle.


      To address his concerns in his complaint we both myself and **************** agreed to the cost of the install of the engine along with parts and labor cost. All cost was on the original receipt **************** signed off on the repairs needed and the cost of the repairs. Attached you will find the original receipt for the engine install repair. With the numerous of returns of the vehicles due to **************** stating the leaking of fluid we found no issues with the engine installed. We have driven the car over 300 miles with no issues. We have even worked with him to replace after market with *** as well. Keeping his warranty in place for the engine we have installed. Attached also you will find each time **************** has brought his vehicle into the shop and we have checked the vehicle each time at no additional cost. Tested the vehicle multiple of times in addition to contacting the 3rd party for the vehicle inspection. Even with **************** taking his vehicle to the dealer, they have also confirmed that nothing is or was wrong with the engine we installed in **************** vehicle. Still we are here to help in anyway we can but at this time there is nothing we have done wrong with his vehicle. We have addressed and worked with **************** on numerous occasions. With the conclusion that we have not sabotaged his vehicle. We have completed the job we were hired to do and there has been no issues with what American Engine Installation  has installed or repaired on *************** vehicle.

      Attached again you will find the original receipts and incidents **************** has reported to us and the conclusion for each time. We again do apologize for the inconvenience **************** feels we have caused but we are more than happy to work with **************** in resolving this matter but we have not done anything that has caused any damages to his vehicle.
