i gave ************************** .the owner of the company $ ***** deposit to do a patio for $50,000 then he put the job on hold because of the coved after that i could not reach him and i never got my money back from him.Business response

Good afternoon BBB,
In direct response to complaint # ******* I would like to state the following facts and come-up with option for resolution.
#1 *********************** stated that project was delayed due to Covid, this is NOT true. *********************** postponed project because he was declined financing from our major lending network.
#2 Option to pay out of project was provided by me to help *****, *********************** selected a 30 % smaller project then originally designed and agreed on. With start date selected and smaller amount of work agreed on; *********************** post -ponded project a second time because of a sick relative or family member; Project was delayed a third time by ***** because he was traveling. So now we have ***** delaying start date 3 times! Not delayed at all by my company in fact materials were ordered and schedule for delivery. After 3 delays by Client is was becoming very clear ***** could not pay or afford the project he wasted my time designing.
#3 40 hours of design work and several trips to meet with ***** at his home and at his ******* business to finalize project design was completed by myself and my company in great faith.
#4 I personally have made 13 attempts to speak with *********************** including text and left voice message to conclude this issue with ZERO response from *****
#5 Simply put I will gladly return his deposit and lose the hours put into his design and hours put into meetings with ***** all because he could not qualify for lending nor afford the project out of pocket.
I am asking BBB to make contact with ***** so we can resolve this issue, ask him or BBB to contact me directly @ ************
