Elite Moving and Storage LLC. They were supposed to show up on August 23rd to pack up our three bedroom house in ***************, ******** and transport our belongings to Georgia by August 27th. They were also going to provide a transport for one of our vehicles. On the 23rd they called by the end of the day to say the movers would arrive on 24th. We were going to settlement with the new buyers on the 25th. ******* from Elite called again on the 24th to say the drivers would be there the morning of the 25th. They showed up with a 26 ft truck and two workers. They did not finish before settlement and were still packing up the house when the new owners arrived. A transport truck never arrived for our vehicle and the all of our belongings did not fit in the truck they brought. They promised an additional truck the next day (August 26th) for the left out items - which never came. Our items are still in ********* and they are saying we need to pay an extra $5000 to get our things.Business response

PLEASE NOTE: we are Elite Moving and Storage *** in *********** **. We do not handle any pickups in your area. please check your contract and contact the right company. we are family owned and NOT affiliated with aby other companies with similar names.
We have not done this move and we do not have any client with these details.

The lack of communication and unprofessional misleading of how and what they charge is ridiculous. They basically uncharged me to begin with and said they only could do 4 movers to move a one bedroom apartment with Only furniture but said at t least that way they would be able to finish in the timeline or less. I wasn't there so they clearly took advantage of my older mom and not only charged me over double ($1950) to move 11 item half of which were barstools out of my place , but then also never called to say anything so i was thinking it was easy and smooth and what the original price i signed the agreement for ( about $950) which was still too much! Then the employees made some very unprofessional remarks to my mom also which made it worse , but bottom line is they are crooks and very misleading and i only singed the original agreement because she verbally told me they should finish early if anything and not go over the timeframe!Business response

I am sorry for the frustration. This move did take much longer than our estimate, mainly because of the narrow stairs at the delivery location and the size of some of the items that were moved. All the communication was done with the person you had at the move instead of you.
We also did try to contact you on 7/13/2021 around 5pm to go over of what can be done.
