On April 8th 2023 I bought a 2023 Kia ******* at Liberty Kia. On June 30th I went in for an oil change, as scheduled. Three weeks later, I was driving on the highway when I heard a noise from the hood of my car. When I pulled over, I looked under my car and there was something hanging from it. At this time, I took a picture of the issue and I saw that there was only one s**** or bolt in the detached car part while the other was completely missing. I immediately went to the *********** center in Libertyville where they told me that my oil pan was missing. I paid $398 to get the part ordered, and when they receive the part I am supposed to go back and pay $150 for the mechanics to reattach the oil pan. During the initial service inquiry, I had also told the mechanics that the Service in 205 miles and ************** screens have been showing up ever since I heard the noise of the oil pan falling. This is strange, as I still have ***** miles left before the oil should be low (I received an oil change on the 30th and my sticker says ). When I mentioned this to the mechanics they ignored my concern and did not even reset the sensor so the notification screens go away. According to everything I had been told, I believe that after my first oil change on June 30th the mechanics did not bolt the oil pan back in properly, which led to my first time driving at higher speeds on the highway as well as the loss of the oil pan. I do not believe that I should be paying to replace the part nor the service for it, as this should have been handled properly in the first place. I will be reporting this incident to the Small Claims Court.Review from Francisco R

The people that work here should be ashamed of themselves. We placed a $500 refundable deposit for a new KIA ******** back on 8-2-2022 with the understanding that we were looking at 4+ months to delivery. At no time did they update us as to the status of the delivery - we always had to reach out and get an update. Fast forward to March of 2023 and still no word or expectation to delivery. We decided to cancel on 3-14-23 and get a refund (called it in). Another phone call on ****, another on 4-5, and another to "the boss" ***** on 4-6 and I now placed a dispute with my credit card company. Why haven't we received our refund in that 3 week time period and NOBODY there returns phone calls? I wish I could go MAGA on them and take a dump on their empty sales floor.Review from Patricia N

Unbelievably bad customer service. We had contacted the ****** online and drove the 45 minutes to purchase the car. First, our salesman could not find the car so we walked around the entire ******ship to find the car right out front. Second, we had to wait for every next stage of the purchase, including going across the street to the credit person at the ****** ****** only to have to go BACK to the KIA ****** credit person who said he was there the whole time. The credit person had trouble getting our plates ordered and despite numerous calls to everyone including the manager, we still do not have our license plates and title. Our salesperson promised us a gas gift card for our inconvenience (didnt happen) and promised us we would get his discount on the installation of a tow package and bars on the roof only to renege on that as well. Im honestly astounded that a business can operate in this fashion.Review from Tom S

LIARS LIARS LIARS BAIT AND SWITCH They advertise a car -$4,115 off of the sticker price, they told me yes we are selling our kia ******* for $16,490.00 all day long and i need not to worry about anything just to come on in and buy one,so i was skeptical,so i called and talked to 4 different people on 11/3/21, 11/5/21, 11/9/21, 11/13/21, 11/15/21 asking if they are selling that car for that price,all of them said 100% that they were,i **** asked them is there anything to qualify for that price and he said you must take there financing,i said no problem,i have excellent credit and will qualify no problem,so he called me 11/13/21 and said they got 8 cars in on saturday i said i will be in on monday and again i said selling for the same price $16,490.00 he said yes,so i drive there 1 1/2 hrs one way sat down in the office to go over price but he asked me 4 questions,am i a recent college grad,no,veteran,no,KIA owner,no first responder,no so he went to his managers office with the price sheet and came back with the full price $20,605.00 i said what is this what about the discount he said i dont qualify for the discount because i answered n oto the 4 questions i said why didnt you ask me those questions on tthee phone before driving here when we talked you said all i have to do is take the finiancing to get the discount,then he lied right to my face and he said the only thing i promised you is that the cars were here,oh my god did i blow a gasket,i started swearing and making a scene,so he called the mananger in which didnt change the price,all they could do is apologize,when i called them out on the lies they were unfazed like i was the 10th customer ****** off at they that day,i still cant believe they did that to me.LIARS LIARS LIARS !!!!!!!Review from Ch U

I drove to the dealership to get the employee price of a 2021 ********* that was new. When I arrived the cars were loaners, had **** miles, and oh by the way the manager said he could not sell the cars anyway due to a general manager decision. But he could sell me a 2019 ********* for about $3000 more. Yes I called in advance and talked to the online sales first. When I called the online sales again, they just said there was nothing they could do. Bad sign of the times when one has to drive an hour to get unethical treatment. I did email the dealership to the attention of the General Manager and never heard back.Review from Jenny K

If I could give less than one star, I would. WE WERE SCAMMED AND MISLED!My experience at the dealership last month was very pleasant and I didn't discover the issues until just now. We were overcharged over $3k for the price of the car. We agreed on the STICKER PRICE for the car and then went into negotiations regarding the loan. The whole time, they focused on the monthly payment and continually went up from what I first told them I was comfortable with. The actual price of the car did not come up at all during that time and I did not question it because we had agreed on the stick price outside. We just received the repayment information from the loan company and it shows that we were charged more for the actual car than we agreed upon. This is not including the extended warranty or gap insurance. I am just talking about the base price. At this point, I know there is nothing we can do about it but I want to caution others so they don't have the same issue. I have reached out to the dealership with my complaints and have not received a response.Review from Lori H

Very bad customer services. They lie to you and steel your money. When they owe you refunds its a nightmare they dont call back or contact you. I would never buy a *** again. Very *** Dealerships.I wish my star could be 0
