I have been wanting to have my air ducts cleaned for several years to improve air flow to the second floor. Due to my townhome being located within a courtyard, accessibility was an issue. The closest parking is 80 ft. away at best. Traditional air duct cleaning companies have their vacuum equipment in their trucks, then I found Angels Duct Cleaning through the BBB search tool. Angels website was easy to navigate and informational plus his equipment is not mounted in his van, but mobile. So I called and was able to schedule within a week. ***** and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00 am, on the day of my appointment, and they accessed the furnace and all vents to be serviced before beginning. I knew my vents were bad, as there was little to no heat or cooling in effect on the second level, so cleaning the vents required an all-out effort by ***** and his crew. To their credit, they completed the job in good time, cleaned up, were professionally courteous. I was concerned that two of my cats, and the dog, would be stressed by the noise, so I took precautions to set up crates in my backyard to remove them from the noise volume I expected from them banging around in the vents. Pleasantly, the noise was minimal, no banging or much of anything obnoxious outside of the vacuum stationed outside my front door. And even that was not overly loud. Today was 85 outside and for the first time, I felt the cool air flowing on my bare feet as I walked in proximity to the bedroom vent, at 3 pm normally it would be stifling, but today, not so it was pleasantly comfortable. The air flow has improved tremendously, the air conditioning unit is working more efficiently, and the need for the additional window units on the second level, is greatly reduced. I would recommend using Angels Duct Cleaning to anyone looking to improve your homes air quality. Their service included scrubbing out the vents, which produced lots of dust and debris collected in the vacuums repository via a large clear tube, then they sanitized the vents - twice. I am quite happy with the results and will call on ***** again, for my air duct cleaning needs.
