They keep billing State Farm for fraudulent charges for damage they did. We NEVER got the official contract. We got ahold of the original contract my husband and I NEVER signed it and my name was spelled wrong on it. We do not want them doing the work as they purposely are causing damage to charge us more. We want out of this contract and to hire another roofer to do job. State Farm agent cant do anything due to nature of contract. Help us please!

Dear ****, thanks for sharing your feedback. Weare sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience; We're usually known for ourexceptional customer service, and we regret that we didn't live up to thoseexpectations here.

In the hopes of addressing the issues you'vebrought up in your complaint, we would like to respond to your complaint againin detail. It seems you are concerned about the following:

Our invoice amount sent to your insurance carriers was above what your insurance had estimated for initially.
Our Roofing crew damaged your siding & gutter in the course of replacing the roof system.
      The garage roof is leaking
Original contract not received or signed and your name spelled wrong.

We've attached these supporting documents foryou to review that include:

Fortec's final invoice was sent to your insurance carrier. (Including supplemented items needed to be covered to replace your roof to industry standards and manufacturer's specifications.)

Our invoice included replacing the siding damaged during theroofing replacement as it was caulked to the roofing shingles and installedwithout flashings.

Signed and dated Roofing contract (The carbon copy was left with you at the design meeting with a Fortec representative).
It states that the total cost of the project will include any insurancesupplements received. (A claim supplement *** claim for extra repair or replacement expenses. Supplements are prevalent inthe claims procedure.)

Our contract for representation to your insurance carrier. (Signed and dated via DocuSign.)

The Installation Manual excerpts for Vinyl siding describing correct siding installation techniques to repair the posts and install vinyl siding on the roofline. (Vinyl siding should be installed " minimum above the roof shingles and not caulked to the roof shingles.)

All of our work is guaranteed, and our installersuse industry best practices and follow the manufacturer's guidelines. We've attachedthe installation manuals for your review.

We have contacted you to schedule aninspection and investigate any leaking noticed within an hour of being notifiedthat your garage roof was leaking.

We have previously discussed these issues, butwe hope the documents attached will help clarify your concerns.
      Tell us why here...

I am rejecting this response because:They installed our siding on a day frost was all over our roof.  The damage to our siding

was not due to the shingles being attached incorrectly.  We were never given the original contract.  We were never informed by FORTEC of what the additional charges would be.  We kept telling them we do not want to be billed for damages they did.  Yet they billed our insurance and raised our deductible for the damage they incurred to our siding.  They constantly are trying to blame things on us and always bringing up that our warranty may be voided.  They did our garage roof and it is leaking.  They tried blaming us for the leak.  We are trying to talk to FORTEC to resolve our concerns.  We have gotten nowhere with Ray.  We are now trying to resolve things with ****.  This has been a nightmare.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************
