On July 29, 2021 I brought my car in to Goodyear to be repaired. They were fixing some check engine sensors. When I picked it up the steering wheel was not in place. It moved all around when driving. They said they did nothing to it. Yet, when they called me to give quote they did not mention anything else was wrong with car except sensors. Plus, my driver side seat has a hole in plastic that was not there when I dropped it off. Nothing was wrong with car except sensors. Steering wheel stayed in place. I talked with John, owner and he could care less.Business response

We are saddened to here this customer has felt they had a negative experience with our facility. Upon review of this complaint I have received the pre inspection sheet and before the vehicle was worked on the technician noted this problem as pre existing and as soon as I was handed the paperwork I made the customer aware that this a known issue from the manufacturer and printed documents from the manufacturer stating that and what they have developed to resolve the issue. I would like to work with the customer in resolving this matter please call management at 847-548-2300 and we will do our absolute best in making this a positive experience with our facility. I am rejecting this response because:
The Repair business did not tell us the steering wheel was broken until the car was completely finished. Therefore, he is lying. When he called with the estimate he did not mention the steering wheel being broken. So, that should tell you he is lying. I called buick dealer and they have no recalls on that lriduct. I would just like my steering wheel fixed properly and not have to spend a penny. I already gave them 1000 dollars. VERY DISAPPOINTED.Sincerely,

We are saddened that your experience was not to your satisfaction. After carefully reviewing our video cameras and inspection sheet. We are completely confident that our technicians were not liable for the pre existing damages to their vehicle. We will out of good faith happily repair the car at a discounted rate. I am rejecting this response because: I would like to see the video. The steering wheel did not disengage itself. We were not told of the steering wheel being broken when they called with our estimate. That tells me that nothing was wrong with ot at the time of dropping off the vehicle.
