On September 15, 2021, I booked an appointment at Cheveux Salon and Day Spa as a surprise for my wife, and paid $283 in cash for massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, and haircut. The only way to pay in advance, they told me, is to get a gift card. What they failed to tell me is that they have a policy that gift cards are not refundable. We had to cancel the appointment, but I wasn't able to get the money back. Cheveux just plainly refused to refund. They informed me that either I use their services, which I absolutely don't need, now or in the future, or I get nothing.I hope there is some way I can get my money back.Business response

Our salon, like many businesses, does not refund gift certificates. We do have our policy posted at our reception desk as well as on our website. The full amount which he purchased can be used for any services or retail in the salon and it is able to be used by anyone! We have welcomed him to come and use the gift certificate at any time. He made it clear that he planned to post negative reviews anywhere and everywhere which is unfortunate.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because, as I stated, I have no use for any of the services they offer. I just want my money back. Since the gift certificate is the ONLY way to pay in advance, it should be refundable.
