1 starThis program is the most un-organized program I have ever dealt with. The staff is always late for work, they want to charge extra for 7am drop off over the summer months meanwhile during the school year I drop off at 7am with no extra fee. You will do everything online they ask of you and then show up to drop your child off and they will have none of the information printed out and make you do it all over again. The Management has every excuse in the book for the program being so unorganized but yet nothing will change. They also never have consistent staff for our program. Its always changing. In my opinion I would investigate the entire program from the top to the bottomRight At School, LLC

Hi ******,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience and regret that it has not met your expectations.Right At School follows all state and local childcare regulations, along with district-specific policies, which sometimes require additional paperwork for different program types. Even if documents were submitted during the school year, Summer Camp programs are full-day and have separate requirements. This may include new forms that must be completed before a childs first day.Because of the extended hours and different structure of Summer Camp, early drop-off and afternoon wrap are offered as separate add-ons. This helps us manage staffing and keep overall program costs lower for families. We understand how important consistent staffing and smooth operations are for families. Our Regional Manager, ***** *********, was onsite recently and mentioned he had a chance to speak with you. If you feel your concerns werent fully addressed or if theres anything more we can do, please dont hesitate to reach out to us directly at [email protected],**** ********-******** Senior Customer Operations ManagerReview fromCandace L

1 star*** is not a reputable program and their business practices are some of the worst and deceptive that I have ever seen. I was told by their District Supervisor ****** ******* that my payment plan was approved. They continued to disenroll my child from the program because of their errors and they finally sent me a bill asking for 2 months of payments that they did not deduct because according to them, they could not follow the payment plan. Their business practices are deceptive and extortion. They tell parents one thing and do something else in their central office. You can never speak directly to a person and they dangle your child's care in front of you; because they know that working parents have no choice. If you can find other childcare, please do so. To all of the school districts, please remove this program from your schools. I have had several safety issues with this program and now this. We are in a great school district and I am going to let the school administration and district know how bad this program is. If you are a school system, you should take not and respect the parents and students in your district; we deserve better than this program. Please understand that they do not care about how they treat people, You cannot event get a phone call from anyone. Safety issues, repeated dishonest billing and communication practices, make this program one of the worst. I am actively seeking another program for my child to go to because Right At School is down right deceitful.Right At School, LLC

1 star************************************** changed to Right At School Aftercare program this year. They told me that my kids were not there when I went to pick them up. After a distracted and disorganized administrator went to look for them and while I waited 30 minutes she finally found them. My kids hated the program even though they attended the school's previous Aftercare up to the change. We asked for a prorated amount of two weeks to be refunded and the program did not reply to many emails, a phone call, and messages. I did not get any reimbursement for my kids not attending.Review fromRae A

1 starI am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional conduct of ******** ******* and ****** *******, both members of management covering ************** in ********. My non-verbal, autistic child was denied placement in their program, and I believe this decision was based solely on his disabilities.Initially, ******** attempted to justify the denial by citing my childs potty training status. However, given the lengthy delay in their response (over a month), my son has already overcome that challenge, yet he was still denied. This leads me to believe the issue is not about potty training but a clear lack of inclusion for children with disabilities. The behavior of both ******** and ****** is not only disappointing but alarming. ********, in particular, demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and compassion. What troubles me most is that my child was denied without any form of evaluation or assessmentan action that, to me, constitutes blatant discrimination.I intend to ensure that anyone willing to listen is made aware of how poorly my child and I were treated by this program. Such exclusionary practices must be addressed.Right At School, LLC

1 starTerrible childcare! The program was SEVERELY understaffed in the ********** area. Sent my kindergarten age son to the summer camp and pulled him out on the 3rd day when bullying was an obvious problem. My son's behavior changed. He became easily upset and started doing aggressive flicking behaviors with his hands -- learned from the bully. There were approximately three classrooms with kids from kindergarten to 8th grade mixed in together! Common sense would at least keep children clustered by ages. When I picked my son up on the third day, he came running, yelling, and crying to me. He had dirt on his clothes and face. He was scared and obviously had been bullied. When I went to the classroom he was in, the lights were out and all 30ish of the kids were sitting around the ONE adult. I talked to three staff members and all they could tell me is that, after lunch, my son walked out of the line and was visibly upset. How was no one watching the kids in a line after lunch? Staff informed me they are not able to help the kids but the older kids are able to help the younger kids. Having the older elementary school kids responsible for the younger kids is INSANE! Thankfully, our son was accepted to a school that does NOT use this program for camp or aftercare. This program gives CPS employees a significant discount but it's not worth the physical or mental health and safety of a child. As someone who works with children, myself, I wouldn't send my child to any of their programs if they paid me to!Right At School, LLC

1 starThey took my money then kicked my child out of the program, not even enrolled her in wait list or any notice. They just informed me on the first week of school that your child was not enrolled.I still have the email confirmation of charges and bank statement. Stealing is not nice especially with kids and education.Right At School, LLC

1 starMy child attended ********************************************. My child was strangled by another boy while no staff was supervising. My son had a red **** from 11pm till the time I picked him up. No one even noticed his neck but I did. I had the manager drive to the school, I called the police, the main office did an investigation and only watched 30 mins of 8 hours and said they saw nothing, I sued them and won. But they said they dont take blame. Right at School, remember my name *******************************. I will make sure you will never do this to a child again, my son has trauma because of you.Review fromcarla m

1 starI have a strange experience to tell. I was bullied at Right at School for about 3 years and nothing was done. I had emails, pictures, texts, and video and nothing was done. My first stop was Area manager(nada), second was her boss(nada), then a top tier(nada) - all said they would look into it but nothing was done. I then gave my two weeks due to the stress of this-nobody was helping me and the answer I got was we are not disbanding the team this late in the game but they ignored the time stealing, the bulling and everything I had sent. I then reached out to let them know a situation had changed and I was ghosted - 3 emails and nobody responds to anything. I feel Right at school in the town I lived in did not due right by me. I did think it was me but since I have been gone from the program is still not right- the before care screams so loud and in the afternoon it nuts,I think the problem with this program is no accountability and no structure-I am so disappointed in this program.Review fromNicole C

1 starTo be honest I would give zero stars if I could but it wont allow me to leave it blank, this company is a joke, unprofessional and rude staff, the leader at my sons school named ***** was extremely rude to me and my son, they called me one day back in November 2023, told me my son was suspended from the program when I asked what for they wouldnt tell me over the phone when I got to the school they were so rude to me told me manager would call me about my son being suspended or terminated from the program and hour later I received an email that he was unregistered, nobody ever called me back, about two weeks ago I got ahold of the manager ****** who was suppose to give me a call back as well and I never received a call back from him after speaking to him about the situation. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!! They cant even keep staff members because their high turn over cause they arent a good company to work for, they hire anybody it seems and really only hire teenagers right out of high school or college students who really dont care to take care of anyones kids. The WORST after school program there is this program really should be called wrong at school cause thats what it is the wrong after school program.Review fromBrittany B

1 starDo not send your kids to Right at School in **********!!! They think is okay for a grown man named ***** to take 5 year old little girls to the bathroom and the little girl comes out with no pants on. They also are trying to blame the 5 year old saying she told ************** that "she was going to make things hard for him" and "she is going to get him fired smh. When the child was question, the child states that ************** is the one who told her to pull her pants down. The school has done absolutely nothing are far as an investigation goes and from our understanding ************** is still working there. If you have children there, i suggest you move them ASAP
