Fence post was split at installation. I have tried 3 times to talk with company regarding my concerns. They do not respond.Business response

I have received a photo of the split post of concern. What has happened, in the course of attaching the gate we inadvertently split the post. The split is localized and does not extend the full length of the post. A crew will be dispatched to remedy the problem within a week. The post will be compressed to seal the split and secured, the gate hinge will be repositioned to minimize any further stress on the post and will provide a decorative cap for the post. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Rich of American Fence Professionals, Inc. came out, gave me a quote which I agreed with, and contracted his company to do my fence. There were several issues during construction which they promptly corrected. For each issue Rich blamed me for miscommunication when in fact he knew better! He did fix all but one. Unfortunately, that one is the most noticeable. One gate looks fine and is about 3 inches from the ground. The gate on the other side of the house is about 8 inches above the ground and looks very unprofessional. He said he would get back to me in a few days to determine a fix. That was over six weeks ago and multiple emails and phone calls in which I left messages. So far I have gotten no response and at this point I dont expect one!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:When ask if I would accept the short gate I initially said yes, but an hour later my wife rejected it and immediately called *******. He left out the part that he said he would check to see about getting longer boards for the gate and would call me in a few days! He never called back and when I called him he never answered. He also says in his response that I was difficult, but I walked thru the entire job with him multiple times before starting it but he did not follow those guidelines and therefore he had to adjust a few things! And now he says Im the difficult one. No, he is the one who did not follow agreed to instructions. Very poor businessman. Look up the complaints on his website. Apparently Im not the only one that has problems with him returning calls!

Everything was completed, inspected, signed off on, and paid for in full. See attached signed off contract. I will provide 3 options with pricing in the next few days.
