  Hired Homework Construction by ****** 7/9/21 to install laminate flooring in master bedroom, foyer, reinstall missing trim, & correct mistakes by a previous contractor in master bath. Was quoted $849.00. Paid-$424.50 7/9- Zelle. Subcontractors came 7/10. Completed flooring installation. Returned to attach missing trim pieces. Asked subcontractor Cliff if they install barn doors. Per ****** $200.00. I paid $624.50 floor/trim balance plus $200 for barn door 7/12-Zelle. Cliff came sporadically over the next two weeks. Asked for a quote for toilet install, sink drain pipe connected & mirror hung in master bathroom. Agreed to $250.00 & paid-Zelle 7/19. Supposed to return 7/22, didn't until 7/24. Sink leaking called subcontractor, no answer. Supposed to return 7/27-7/28, no show/contact from Sub or Owner. 7/29 came, reminded of trim and leak. Owner told sub to leave, refused to finish. Sink still leaking. Owner refused to inspect work, repair and finish.

  Customer hired ********************** to install previously started Pergo flooring at $849. then added barn door install @ $200. then added toilet install and mirror install @ $250. for a total of $1299. we were never hired to repair any leak nor was it mentioned upon initial visit. We did what we were paid to do but **** thought that we were there to correct all of house issues.

  I am rejecting this response because: I paid for the mirror installation, sink drain, and toilet installation.  That is what the $250 covered.  ******' "worker" Clif was the one I asked to do the extra work.  Clif always referred to himself as the "subcontractor."  He would not do anything until ****** okayed, it and I paid for EVERYTHING up front.  I shouldn't have paid anything until it was completed.  I messaged Clif several times when he failed to show up when he said he would.  He is the one that was supposed to correct the leaking sink drain.  He attempted several times and it continues to leak.  I am not able to use the sink.  They were also supposed to put corner round by the master bath shower and never did.  Also put up missing baseboard, which was never completed either.  I asked ****** to come and look at the work like a responsible business owner should do to make sure everything was completed correctly.  He refused and was very disrespectful to me.  The least he should have done is inspect his employees work.  I deserve a refund.

  I am rejecting this response because:  I am not a freeloader.  I paid for the work I requested.  ****** NEVER came to my home to do a final inspection to make sure everything was completed correctly.  He keeps avoiding the issues.  I requested he come to my residence to inspect what I was questioning.  He refused, so that is why I reported him to the BBB.  I paid for my bathroom sink to be connected and it leaked.  It was never installed correctly.  I had to pay to someone else to have it fixed.  I paid for missing trim to be put back.  Some pieces were, but others were not.  I provided pictures.  If ****** can't remember, have him speak to his worker Clif.
