      After bathroom remodel, new leak found months later with damage to outside home foundation. Tub damage upon install at spout. New tub hole at base due to not being installed properly; no appropriate foundation applied to place tub on. Sink vanity faucets loose. Wall around Shower head damaged. Exhaust fan installation not complete; no duct work to exterior completed. Contractor contacted a few times after payment completed and did not return phone call or finish work. Damage to tub and outside foundation newly noticed

      the first that i have heard of any issues with this job is the correspondence that i have received from the bbb  my primary form of contact with complaintent has always been through text or my invoicing software  i have no messages in either from them  i have since reached out to them via email and expressed my apolagies and willingness to make right any issues that i am personally responsible as of 7/17/2023 i have not received a response  as i have conveyed to them i am willing to solve this in a timely fashion as i would have had they made contact with me

      The response is not accurate and does not depict the nature of miscommunication experienced, nor does it acknowledge the extent of damages consistent with inappropriate work done.

      My husband attempted to reach out to the contractor via phone about completing the exhaust fan duct work a few weeks after the invoice was paid in full (around the end of November or early December) with no contact being made. I had uploaded the invoice with the initial complaint which included the exhaust fan installation as well "run ductwork to exterior". While not getting a response in a timely manner after the initial complaint to the Better Business Bureau and receiving correspondence that the matter was closed due to lack of response from New Day Services, I did receive an email to my personal account outside of business hours on Sunday morning, 7/16/23. I am working with my phone company to get records from the above mentioned time period to validate the attempted call and will upload this as soon as it is available.

      At this time, I am seeking a refund of fees paid due to damages, and failure to complete the job that was paid for.

      as stated before i would like to resolve this issue and for you to be satisfied with the end result, that being said im sure that we can settle on a dollar amount that all parties can be happy with. what exactly is the dollar amount you are seeking to settle this complaint?

      Hello. Since I was last informed of this matter being closed. I have reached out to the States Attorney for further assistance in managing the matter. The States Attorney has reached out to the business prior to this correspondence. I am currently awaiting a response. I was confused to see an additional response from this platform as I was informed that the BBB had closed the case due to no response from the business. I have not received any attempt to remedy the situation at this point
