I messaged *** **** on April 26, 2022 and he responded on April 29. We set up a date for an estimate over the phone. He gave me an estimate and told me it would be the end of May, beginning of June before he could do the floor. I messaged him May 17, June 4, and June 18 to see when he could do my floor. I, myself went to ****** ** flooring to pick out the metallic colors I wanted and the white base coat where he purchased materials. I sent him a message with all this information and he said he could do it. He finally messaged me back on June 18 and said he would be there Monday July 25. I told him several times in several different messages that I did not want very much brown in the floor, just hints here and there. When he was done, he moved the refrigerator back to the kitchen. The floor was completely covered in brown. I asked him to re-do the floor because it wasn’t like what I asked for. He said this time, I’ll use white. White is what I asked for to begin with as a base coat, he had used an off white. Epoxy was all over my new baseboards that were placed in January, and all over the toe kick and bottom of cabinet that were painted in January. Epoxy is on the bottom of the dishwasher and the refrigerator is stuck into the floor. I am unable to open one of the doors because it’s pushed back too far behind the wall. I told *** **** I was not sure what else to say to him since he still didn’t do what I asked. I asked about the baseboards and epoxy on cabinets and he said he tried taping the baseboards the first time, but epoxies are bad about wicking behind tape. He offered to cover it with paint if I would purchase it. The baseboards and cabinets need epoxy scraped off, sanded, and re-painted, not just painted over. I would like the money back for the floor, plus the cost of baseboards, paint, scraper, and sanding material to fix the epoxy that’s on my cabinets and baseboards. Attached is our messages and pictures of baseboards/cabinet/floors.Business response
