      At the end of May 2022 I had (at two different occasions) 5 blazers processed at CD Cleaners. I realized they were not clean, they were returned to me pressed but otherwise "dirty" at the collar and bottom of sleeves. I went back and was offered a re-do. When I picked them up - the original "redone" blazer was much dirtier than at first - it had stains and a blackish sheen (on eru colored fabric). I demanded to talk to the owner/manager (the crew only offers more "re-dos") but was told she was not available. I left the ruined ****** there. I inspected the other 4 blazers - they also were not cleaned (dirty at the inside of the collar and bottom of sleeves). They offered to redo and I said no, as I don't want MORE blazers ruined. Needless to say - nobody called me and the result of my paying them to clean garments (upfront!!!) is - i don't have my ecru blazer anymore and I have 4 garments that have not been cleaned. I believe they should refund the cleaning fee for all 5 and pay me the cost of acquiring a new blazer- the super dirty one cannot be worn.

      We received one blazer brought back to our location due to some dirt along the cuffs and other marks on the white blazer not being taken out during the initial cleaning. We offered a free redo on this item and were able to remove these marks the second time. When this item was picked up the blazer was not damaged and in the original condition.  We called and offered to redo the additional 4 blazers because we did not have them in the store, these items were not brought back to the store and left for a redo, but we will issue a refund of $17.96 to the initial form of payment for the 4 blazers that you are unsatisfied with the cleaning on.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The blazer I DID let them redo TWICE came back in poor condition-  looks worse than before they touched it. The other 4 - I will not let them redo (they were returned to me pressed - poorly at that, collars asymmetrical) but NOT cleaned. Not only that - they had stains that were not there originally. My office blazers only had ring around the collar and bottom inside sleeves requiring cleaning, NO STAINS.

      The reason I will not let them redo these four is: these are good quality expensive garments and I cannot risk them being returned in worse shape than when they were first dropped off.

      I requested that they at least re-press them to correct to asymmetry of collars. They came back seemingly untouched - same ironing problem and additional stains.

      The lady giving them back to me was embarrassed - she agreed nothing was done and blazers were dirty. But she cannot do anything - the owner lady calls the shots.

      Also - this batch of garments required so many trips to the shop  - I refuse to waste more time on this, i have a life.

      I refuse to accept the credit as I will never go back there - you pay for cleaning UPFRONT, they do not clean your garments, they inflict dirt/damage on them, press haphazardly and have me go back and forth like a yo-yo? That is not acceptable.

      All items that come to our store, including these blazers, are cleaned according to the care label and these items were dry cleaned. As hard as we try we are not able to get all stains out of items that are brought in due to the type of stain and material. If items are not brought back to the store we are unable to reprocess them to meet your needs. We can offer a refund for the cleaning of the five items of $22.45.  The white blazer was treated several times for stains and was in better condition than when it was really originally brought in so we are unable to offer reimbursement for this item.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The garments I brought in for cleaning (all blazers) were cotton, linen and polyester, so - all kinds of different fabric. 4 came back in the original state, not cleaned (ring around collars and bottom of sleeves and NO STAINS). 1 blazer (polyester, ecru colored = off white) came back with stains on the collar that had not been there before. It was redone twice and as a result lost the stains but became darker, tired and overworn looking.I did not want this to happen to my linen blazers so I did not let them redo/damage them.

      In order to have the one blazer redone and the others re-ironed (they were NOT, I kept getting them back in the original state) I made multiple visits to the store and that is not acceptable.

      Garments should be cleaned and pressed properly the at the first attempt.

      IF they cannot clean them - they should not advertise they can and charge for it.

      I cannot accept the refund as it would make it look like the case has been settled. They don't know how to deliver service they charge for and they waste customers' time and damage their clothes.

      Therefore they should not be in business.
