On 9/20/23, on behalf of my company, GLC, I purchased motorized window shades from The Shade Store to replace a shade that no longer fit over a replaced window at our office. At the time of order, we were promised that the new shades could be made to work with our existing control switch. No one from the Shade Store ever examined our electrical specifications to verify that this would be possible. Upon installation of one of two shades, our third party electrician discovered that the two systems were not compatible. The Shade Store has exhibited consistent negligence in addressing this matter. Emails go unanswered for weeks at a time. Shade Store technicians who have either visited our space or called for information have been uninformed as to the nature of our problem and the current state of our situation. Most recently, it was agreed that a technician from the Shade Store would contact our third party electrician to discuss any possible solutions. This was agreed to by all parties on 12/7/23. No one has informed me that such a communication has yet occurred and, indeed, I received a call from an uninformed Shade Store technician that very much indicated that it had not.
