I bought my car on 10/28/2023 for a total of $8,332 With everything that goes with it.I made a deposit of $2,000 at the purchase. And had promised to add $4,000 for the initial deposit on the Monday following the purchase But when I called the person who had my money who was in Africa at the time, he told me that he won't be able to make me a transfer to wait for him to ,Arrived in the *** on December 15, 2023. I directly called the dealer to tell him that I was going to return the car and wait for the arrival of the person who had my money and once I have the $6,000, I will come back to buy the car. He told me no, I could keep the car he will wait for on December 15, 2023. The first day I bought the car I notified the seller of the problems that the car had. He told me there was no problem that he was going to repair it. But as soon as I notified him of the delay for the $4,000 he changed compared to the repair of the car And he asked me to pay the monthly payment in advance if I wanted him to repair the ************** I did, but he didn't want to repair the car Arriving on December 15 I brought back the car and gave him $1000 and asked him to repair my car as promised And once the car was repaired I will bring back the remaining **** $ for the initial deposit But once I got the car back I found that nothing was repaired and that there were always the same initial breakdowns When I went back there to make them note that nothing was repaired. They tinkered with the car and gave it to me a few days later. There were always the same problems I understood that he was really never going to repair my car. I decided to repair it small to small with my own financial means. On January 26th I went there to make my monthly payment he forced me to pay $1,000 I told them no that I was going to pay the monthly amount due which is 413 $ no more because you didn't want to repair my car and I already spend hundreds of dollars to repair it

The following Monday came and the customer started telling us how they need more time to come up with the rest of the down payment we gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them more time. We are currently in January the customer is behind on the promissory deferred down payment and behind on the actual monthly payments the vehicle is currently out for repo actually! we sell our vehicles with a 15 day 500 miles warranty the customer is coming to us with complaints claiming issues when he came to us in early January saying he had issues we checked the miles he purchased the vehicle with ****** miles in early January he had over ******* miles he drove over ****** miles in almost 2 and a half months because he is using the vehicle for work ride share services. If the vehicle was sold wit the issues the customer would not be able to drive the miles e put on there. to drive over ****** miles in almost 2 and a half months is ridicilous. the cusrtomer can drive as much as they want ofcourse but they also need to maintain the vehicle.

      To whom this mat concern,

The customer came into the dealer on November 17, 2023 looking to purchase a vehicle. He seen the 2017 ******* Sonata test drove the vehicle and liked it. After discussing financing the customer decided to make the purchase. The customer informed me that night the battery for the car is weak and will bring it back to change. We changed the small battery for the customer but he stated he still had an issue. after diagnosis we found out the hybrid battery needed to be replaced. We ordered a new Hybrid battery and the vehicle is in the shop being repaired. The customer will be getting the vehicle back ready and the issue is a battery issue. I do not understand the comment about the insurance payment that has nothing to do with the repairs? Also the customer we gave the customer $300 to accommodate him with a loaner or uber while the car is in the shop.

On 1/31/23. I financed a car on road master auto group the amount of the hummer 2006 is $24,363.52. The problem is that the car does not work, the dealer has had the car since 2/1/23. The day after I financed it, I sent it to the shop since it needed fixing. As it currently is, I dont have the car but I still have payments due for the car.

      To whom this may concern,

the vehicle is running and the problem is that the vehicle had a check engine light on for a misfire/tune u. Which is very common in used vehicles and is a very easy fix. The only issue is parts are behind and mechanics are behind so the mechanic shop where the vehicle is needed time and asked if we can bring the vehicle back when they have space. The customer did not want to drive the car with the check engine even though the mechanic advised it was fine. we did not argue with the customer in fact we even offered the customer to reimburse him his first car payment for the inconvenience which he agreed to. after a couple days he came back and said that he no longer wants the car, we told him that all sales are final and we cant just cancel the sale because he changed his mind. we are still willing to help the customer with the first payment since we gave him our word already, but we can not just cancel a deal.

I am rejecting this response because:

Yes, I told them that I no longer wanted the hummer because since the end of January that I bought it they have had the ************ told them how I was going to pay for something that is useless and if they offered me to pay for the first month. They told to BBB that it's something simple to fix  so why don't they have it ready and take it from one mechanic to another. When I go to the dealer they tell me that this or that is missing. We are already in March 6 and I still have no response from the hummer. One of the times I went, a salesperson told me, you know what  I can undo the contract but I don't want to, these  people already have me stressed.
I have some message with the sales person but in Spanish Im gonna attach here :

      Sincerely,

We are sorry the customer is going through the headache but the only issue is the mechanic is waiting for a part, and sometimes parts are on back order and if we had any control on getting parts in and getting the vehicle to the customer and having them happy we would go and get it our selves if possible. I can help the customer by helping them cover the payments on the vehicle until he picks it up and has it ready. A deal can not just be cancelled and reversed but we can help make it right for the customer.

I purchased a 2007 Cadillac Escalade on May 19, 2021 from RoadMaster Auto sales, sales person name is *****. Within 2 months of having the vehicle the check engine light turned on I contacted ***** he had me bring in my vehicle and ended up keeping the truck for 3 weeks to "fix" the issue,I pick up my truck the check engine light is off & I leave thinking the issue is fixed. Around December the Check engine light turns on again this time when I call road master get in contact with ***** he says its not his problem anymore reach out to the warranty company he sold me in the original contract. I said ok and called the warranty they told me they have no paperwork with my vehicle info and I am not registered with them. I called roadmaster back and ***** had me come in where we both called the warranty. they had no record of my vehicle so I asked ***** where did the$2,000 I paid for warranty go? He then proceeded to make phone calls then saying he never submitted my vehicle paperwork to the company. He then set me up for failure by selling me another warranty on 6/9/22 with a company called **************. Note my vehicle also did not pass the emission test. I contacted omega and let them know about my check engine light and failed emission test they told me I needed to take it to a certified mechanic shop so they can take a look at it and see if they will cover it. I took my vehicle to Napleton Cadillac where they charged me $250 to look at exactly what is wrong with it & reached out to my warranty company with all the issues adding to up to $16,691.34 Omega states they will not cover anything because the issues are pre-existing conditions. ***** advised that the dealer sold me my vehicle with the issues it has now because the milage and damages/issues do not add up. ***** from roadmaster sold me a defective vehicle that does not work ,is not road safe and a fake warranty he will not do anything to help but have me pay him $3000 for another vehicle to make a trade in.

      To whom this may concern,

The customer ************************* purchased a vehicle from ** in 2021 and when she first purchased the vehicle yes she did have some minor mechanical issues that were resolved and the customer took the vehicle and was happy to our understanding. after almost 2 years I get a phone call from the customer about a check engine I am not certain on what the problem was but the customer stated a emission issue or catalytic converter ( which is not a warranty issue that is a wear and tear of and it just happens over time) after almost two years of driving the customer has to understand that some times they have to put a little money into the car to run well. The customer called us and wanted to purchase another vehicle from us about two weeks ago asking if she can do a trade in, after doing an application and submitting it to the bank the required her to put $3,000 down payment to make a deal happened so when we told the customer about what our banks required she got mad at us and before she hung up on my face I advised her if she can find another dealer who can get her financed with less down to go for it and move forward towards this, but the banks and finance companies I deal with required this kind of down payment to even make a deal happen. I appreciate the customer wanting to do business with us again but I don't think it is fair for us to get a complaint because I can not get her approved for a car. and saying the car is a bad car because it needs to pass an emission test is also not fair. Owning a vehicle is a responsibility and the customer needs to understand this.

      Complaint: 19344266

I am rejecting this response because:
Roadmaster states I called them 2 years after when since I purchased this vehicle, I have had issues with the vehicle since the beginning of the purchase that is the reason why I took the truck back to them and they kept the truck for almost 3 weeks to a month. I understand that when you purchase a used vehicle you have to sometimes put money into it. But roadmaster sold me a defective vehicle, knowing that it was defective, and they did nothing to fix it. roadmaster still has not answered anything over warranty.  Things that warranty should cover are wrong with my truck and warranty would not cover because they are pre-existing conditions. Roadmaster has not once mentioned anything about the fake warranty they sold me in the beginning, and why he never submitted the paperwork since the beginning. I called him not to do a trade in I called him over issues with the warranty he sold me! he then proceeded to talk to me about a trade-in. This is bad business and needs to be resolved because I have a truck that has had major issues since it has been purchased!
      Sincerely,
