As an potential interpreter, I was disappointed. Atlas called me with an urgent demand for an interpretation date and rate a month in advance. they gave the impression that I was their interpreter of choice.eventually, their client chose someone else - that's acceptable. the only thing is, they didn't bother to inform me. I had their dated penciled in on my calendar and declined other jobs in their honor. Even when I contacted Atlas to find out the status of the job (since they didnt bother), it was a few days before I got an answer.In short - dont work with them.

You are correct, Atlas Language Services did contact you on Feb. 2, 2022 for a tentative Hebrew deposition scheduled for two dates, March 8 & 9, 2022. Unfortunately, the client choose not to accept your rate and went with another Hebrew interpreter. When our staff spoke to you on March 1, 2022 we did notify you that the client choose another interpreter and thus your services were not required. We apologized for not notifying you prior to your call on March 1, and for that we take ownership.We are glad that you reached out to our team 7 days prior to see if this assignment was going forth or not, however, please keep in mind that this appointment was tentative, never confirmed.Atlas Language Services supports our industry (i.e. ATA, MATI, ALC, etc.) both in terms of sponsorships and continuing education for linguists.
