Had a very disappointing experience when I tried to order some cigars online from this business. I placed an initial online order for some particular boxes of cigars and was charged for them in full. Given that there was no disclaimer on the site, I was under the impression that there was no limit to the number of boxes of this cigar that could be purchased. When a family member tried to order a box of the same cigars, I received a call from the manager/owner yelling at me about the additional request. He said "we are out and there were no more available". He never stated that if they became available I would not be able to complete another order - or anyone in my family could not order. In the meantime he cancelled the order from the family member after she was also verbally reprimanded on the phone when checking on the order. All along, the first order had been shipped and I was expecting delivery. When I checked on it, it showed that the owner had intercepted the delivery and sent the cigars back to *******. I was never notified that this was what was going to happen.I sent an email sharing my displeasure and offered an opportunity to discuss the situation with him. I received no follow-up communication.

Sir, you know what the problem was. I know you missed out on the second-to-last round of limited edition cigars we had. When you called I promised you I would make sure you received a box. That same day you called back and asked for a second box. I had no problem taking care of you there, but during that call I let you know I was only receiving a very small shipment and those two boxes were all I could send to you.When the cigars arrived you called looking for another 5 singles. I reluctantly agreed to the 5 additional cigars even after I had told you I could only get you the two full boxes. You then called again asking for even more boxes. I politely told you I could not get you any more as I only had a small amount and I had other customers I needed to take care of. ******* later we noticed you had a box and three singles in a shopping cart on our website. Shortly after that an order was placed for a box under your wife's name. Your shopping cart still had the 3 single cigars in it, so it appears you placed an order and changed the name to try to slip one by us. Now I can't say for sure whether you or your wife placed the order, so I called to let you know I could not fill that order since I had already explained I shipped you as many cigars as I was comfortable with.I promised you I would take care of you with these limited edition cigars, but told you I could only get you the two boxes. I even added five more single cigars after I told you I was only comfortable with the two boxes. I held up my end of the bargain, but for whatever reason it wasn't enough for you. I recalled the shipment and gave you a credit because of everything stated above. Jack Schwartz Importer has been around for over 100 years and we do our very best to make sure each and every customer has a wonderful experience. I will not, however, do business with someone when I feel like I'm being taken advantage of.Thank you,Jack Schwartz Importer
