      I purchased a fan from Lightology in 2022 that was defective. I reached out to the manufacturer (based on Lightology's request) and received a part that did not fix the issue, I then reached out again and received a full warranty which I then filed with Lightology. Lightology then took over 30 days to file my claim (despite saying it would take 2-3) and shipped my replacement fan to the wrong address, which I notified them of immediately. It took me several months to actually get the shipment since it was sent to the wrong address. I then got charged by Lightology because I didn't ship back the defective fan within a 30 day window. However I had no way to do this because of when I was actually able to get the replacement fan do to it being shipped to the wrong address. I have the emails showing that they didn't respond to my requests in the timeframe I wanted and that when I emailed them to say they shipped to the wrong address the link they provided to email was dead. Now that I have the new fan I also offered to ship the old parts back and they refused. They made the mistake by shipping to the wrong address (which they've admitted) and I want my money refunded.

      I purchased a pendant light from Ligthology (Order#:901372; Sku:AH-41043) on 06/15/22, which was delivered on July 28th. I paid $990 for it. The box should have included a lamp shade, three different length brass color downrods, dimmer, and the brass base to install it to the ceiling (this info is on the website). We have received several light fixtures from different suppliers and we didn't open any of them until the contractors were ready to have the electricians install them in September. We have been having a full house renovation. When the contractor opened the box from Lightology, the only thing that they found in the box was the lamp shade. I reached out to Lightology and told them that I didn't receive all the parts and that I wanted to return the lamp and get refunded. After some back and forth, this is the response I received: "Good afternoon, From our records, we have noticed that the order was delivered back on 7/28/2022 . To report a received item broken/missing outside 72 hours from receipt removes our shipping company's insurance liability coverage, which would be liable. Our Damages Policy states that you must report any absent or damaged goods within this time. In this case, this is outside the allowable time frame for us to replace the parts free of charge. This is also outside of ours and the manufacturer's return policies. We can certainly reach out to the manufacturer regarding the costs of the missing parts and provide you with a quote."I don't want their light or the money for the missing parts as I can't install the lamp without those parts and I don't want to do business with Lightology at all after this ordeal. This response is telling me that they won't do anything to right the wrong and I have to tell them if I want the money back for the missing parts. I'd like my money to be completely refunded and I'm more than happy to mail back the lampshade as I can't use it as is anyway.

      HORRIBLE! Bought a light fixture for over $500 and used a licensed electrician to install it. The light fixture never worked. Shipped it back to Lightology for a refund but they refuse to refund it, claiming the electrician did something wrong. He did not. He did a full commercial renovation for us and this is the ONLY product that had any issue. He followed the instructions to a tee and even called Lightology for additional support when it didn't work. I'm livid and out $500. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Their customer service is horrible and they will rob you blind.
