      So Ive already filed a complaint against this company and I was gaslighted and basically told to show evidence and today Im here with it.This company sells moldy apartments to tenants and thinks its okay.Yes the prices are cheap but its in exchange for your health.Ive been a tenant since July 2023 and I made my property manager aware of the mold issue 7/25/23. *** also complained on BBB.My property manager bought in the area manger who told me that the mold in question had nothing to do with me.She went a very incompetent maintenance man pretty much brushed off the issue. I was told I was a liar pretty much.Pangea even went as far as telling me I had to pay for my own air quality test and to show evidence of mold.Well now I have photos. This is toxic black mold in my kitchen .

      4/10/24-4/11/24 I had a prescreening on a recorded line while setting up my viewing for one apartment. Upon getting my approval the woman on the phone call set the viewings and offered a higher costing property to view as well because I was already approved for a certain amount. She urged me to put in my application as they wouldnt have the unit available if I dont. The following day I put in my application and within an hour received a notice I was declined without reason. I then called to inquire how Id been led astray and lied to in order to have funds taken and they berated me and hung up the phone

      For the past winter months I have been dealing with ****** no heat or no hot water in the building. Its not just me other residents as well and soon those who move in will too. This has to be a building issue because from October 2023-until April 3rd its still happening. I currently have no hot water in my unit. I woke up trying to get me and my child ready for work on Tuesday and had no hot water at all. I put in work orders, spoke with zone lead and building manager. I was told maintenance came out and he fixed it at 4:04pm by 5:00pm it was off again and completely cold. Have been waiting all evening to receive an update. I had to reach out to the zone leader at 8:00pm asking for update. I let him know it was still off unfortunately. I received a text from maintenance saying the hot water should be back on and they was at 10:56pm which was 4 mins until 11 which was there cut off time. Its now 11:53pm and I currently still have no hot water. Which means this becomes a huge inconvenience for me and my child not being able to have heat is one tuning but not being able to bathe all day because of this is another. My rent also went up! I dont mind paying but all my things should be working in my apartment for me live. I truly believe the boiler or pipes need to be replaced correctly so this wont keep happening. I just want hot water and heat and not have to worry about will it cut off or come back on in the next few days or will I be with out heat or hot water for the weekend.

      I've been without a working stove (no gas supply & the bill is paid every month) since February 4th. I've placed work orders that went canceled without a follow up as to why. The property manager, *****, is a complete jerk. He's called custodians instead of someone from the maintenance department to give peoples gas access to my unit and gas meter & later figured out custodians don't have a key to units - well DUH! This is a maintenance issue. Then he TOLD me that I basically need to call off of work because there's no one available from maintenance to come out. It just sounds like he does not see this as an **************** quite illegal. He's told me that I need to make an appointment with people's gas & this is not an appointment type of situation - people's gas considers this as an emergency. I will not be paying rent until this is resolved. ***** doesn't care about the tenants and only cares about the rent being paid to get his commission.

      February 2, I went to 1737 w 79th to pangea office to sign my lease and pay my move in fee copies of payment are being attached..I got approved for an apartment signed my LEASE and my move in date was the 28th of February...I get a call on Feb 28 same day saying theybare terminating my lease because I have an eviction on my background which I absolutly do not...My current landlord is taking me to court because i have not paid him to pay pangea and there is not hot water or heat currently they have court with city buildings inspector ...court has not happened yet no judgement has **** made in eviction court yet it has not even happened yet Pangea is lieing..We already have a Legal Binding Contract that i signed..They cannot take my apartment away and wait to the move in date to say so ... leaving me with no where to go because this was my only option and they are refusing to give me my move in fee back...I went to the office no one will let me in like im nothing..when i call they say they have no proof of me ever signing a lease for 6455 south Fairfield..I have been scammed and i will be following up with small claims for breach of contract ans this hardship they have caused...I want my move in fee back

      ************************************************************** is the correct address to send to..I have not cashed anything I do not believe you if you guys had sent my 500$ back I would already have it..and my landlord is being taken to small claims by me because hot water is included in my lease and i have gone all winter with no heat or hot water because of the condition of his building..I deserve a clean safe habitable place to stay..I worked hard to get away from this situation and this is how I am treated..he has city of buildings court cases and a lot of fines because of this..the city is about to shut this whole building down very soon so do not tell me I'm being evicted because I won't be..To give me false hope was wrong and it cost me please see attached pictures because this is going to have to be litigated just for me to recieve my money back and also city building inspector reports and violations...Pangea is very wrong for this im suffering because ********************* im totally done waiting

      I have been with out heat for a total of 5 days. This happened at least once a month since the winter time. Every time it goes it there is a reason or they have to wait on someone to come out and fit it. This time I was told this past Friday when I made the report that someone would be out by 11pm. The maintenance man called me and said he was on the way at 7pm and no update or anything. Saturday rolls around wake up still no heat and freezing. So maintenance calls and says that there is no update his boss said no one will be coming until Monday to fix the fit because the valve is broken. So I had to go out of pocket and purchase a space heater to try and keep everyone warm. Yes this weekend during the day it was fine but at night since my kitchen and back door are connected its freezing every night in my home. The whole building has no heat. Monday comes and no answer from zone lead and maintenance blocked my number. Been calling and putting In work orders and no update and this is for the heat as well as rodent issues I have asked them to come and plus up holes for 3 weeks now. Its is not Tuesday and cold and raining and I have no heat and it still feels like outside in my apartment with no update from maintenance and zone leader just looking at my text because it can see the time its looked at. The whole building has kids and one person even had a new born and we have no heat. We all have been calling and putting on emergency work orders to be getting the same answer saying that its in progress but my child is coughing do to having to sleep in a room cold and trying to get warm from a space heater. This not right at all.

      I am rejecting this response because: the heat stopped working friday afternoon after they sent someone out to check that it was 77degrees in my unit! The heat cut off and never came back on! So it is now Sunday March 24th and the heat went out March 22nd and goes out every other weekend! I have had to buy personal space heaters so that my childs room would be warm at least and turning on the oven and stove from time to time out the day to warm up the apartment. We cant even walk around comfortably because how cold it is in here. We have 4 radiators and not one turned on or working. Then the maintenance man came back again yesterday and stated he couldnt light the boiler and took the temperature in my apartment for **************************** the front room. My entire apartment is freezing. I had to come out of pocket yet another weekend to by a space heater so my child room would at least be warm! This is ridiculous every other weekend I am with out heat. This has been happening for Oct until now! Having to confine to one room because you can barely walk around your unit because its freezing is insane. Its 35 degrees ************** my apartment as well!

      On 02/28/2024 I made an appointment to go into the local rental office to get a parking pass. A few weeks prior to me going in, I spoke with ******( property manager) and *** (zone leader) both were very respectful and very easy to work with during this conversation. During that conversation I let them know I will be making a payment on 02/27/2024 of 900$. They said once I do that I can get a parking pass and we will discuss a payment plan moving forward on the day of 02/28/2024. After making the payment on 02/27/2024 I made an appointment to go into the office the next day to get a parking pass. The next morning ****** txtd me that I will not be able to get one until my balance is 0$. I immediately say thats not what you or your boss told me. He the over talks me and gets disrespectful. I asked to speak with his supervisor *** and he escalated the situation. I went into the office at my schedule time. Me and *** went into his office to have a conversation and all he did was disrespect me, belittle me, and also ignored me. I wasnt yelling or cursing. I just did not accept what they where telling me without showing me something from their company that says I have to have a 0$ balance to get a parking pass. There is none. They are also still billing me and I havent a new parking pass since 12/2023. I requested multiple times to speak with the regional manager. There is no way for me to contact anyone higher than a zone leader. They are now not answering my calls or txt. I have leaks in my ceiling that have not been fixed. This has been extremely unprofessional on there part. At this point I dont know what to do!

      Rodent infestation with management not willing to address the issue. Mice are everywhere (running over my feet, jumping out of the garbage can, running across counters, etc). It only a matter of time theyre on the bed. Online maintenance requests (there are three reports shown but Ive requested help five times (request listed states work completed.) This is a flat out lie!! No one has contacted me on any level (no phone calls, texts, emails or in person). Ive been a good tenant for ten years and I deserve much better treatment.

      My toilet does not flush this has happen before I have submitted several work orders and one has been out to fix the issue the way the toilet will flush is if I add water I have also submitted several request asking for the property manager by the name of Chanel to give me a call she has yet to contact me I have been a tenant for over a year and I don't know who the property manager is or know what she looks like anytime I contact resident care I am told she will give me a call with 3 business days and she has not contacted ******* has been well over 2 weeks I asked for the cooperate number form ************** neither provided me the number and ****** stated she is with corporate when I asked her what do I do with this ongoing issue with the toilet not flushing which is nasty and unsanitary she stated just call back if no one shows up and I have already been waiting several days and no one has arrived yet to fix the issue

      The residents 2A , are nasty, trash in hallways and back porch. Theres an Oder thats unbearable and embarrassing, I choose not to have visitors. Just this morning a male was sleeping in the hallway on the floor!! Scary and unbelievable right in front of 2A door, its not safe here with the residents and their associates from 2D This building have went down tremendously!! Also, they leave the front door open, another hazard!!!
