This is the worst *********** care provider that I ever used. ************** is rude, unprofessional, incompetent, and disrespectful. I don't know how she still has a job. She talks down to people. She continued sending my father, who is suffering from short-term memory loss. a homecare aide who stole from him and another one who came to work when she felt like it. She often did a no call no show. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.Business response

Complaint ID of ********: ASI strives to provide the highest quality of care. Upon investigation of this complaint, we understand our client had both a preferred (friend) caregiver and a home care aide. The complaint alleges the preferred caregiver was not on-site according to the client's schedule. ASI does have an electronic visit verification system to track our employees to ensure they are at the right location at the right time performing the correct tasks. ASI Field Supervisors also conduct unsupervised visits twice a year to check on the performance of preferred caregivers and home care aides. The complaint also alleges the preferred caregiver took property of our client. We were unable to verify that this took place. Our policy is to immediately remove any employee with an allegation of theft. I am rejecting this response because:I informed supervisor ************** that *******************, my dad's childhood classmate, stole from my dad. I also told her at the time that I had proof. ************** said to me that she thought something was up with ****. ************** was aware of my father's short-term memory loss. He continued to ask for **** because he had forgotten what **** had done. I have a witness about ****'s theft. She spent money off my dad's card without his permission and took $10 in cash. ************** sent **** back to work for him. **** knew that she wasn't going to be able to steal from my dad any longer, so she told ************** that my dad had bed bugs (which wasn't true. His was treated in the past.) to not work for him and to get back at me for telling ************** that she stole.
Neither home health aide had a device for my dad to sign stating they came for the day. **** lives in the same building as my dad, so it would be easy for her to log in as she is at his apartment, and ****** could park outside the building in sign-in.
****** would not show up and call off the night before, stating that she had a doctor's **************************************** visited my dad's house once in late 2021 or early 2022.
I overheard ************** telling my dad that the workers didn't want to work with me. They never had to work with me. She tried to convince my dad that I was the problem. ****** became upset because I no longer conversed with her after she lied on me, and I realized she was a liar.
****** stopped working with my dad out of the blue last year and did the same this year. ****** had us sign up with another agency because she said they were better than ASI and didn't like how unprofessional ************** was and how she talked to her.
ASI has a tone of complaints online and on ****** reviews about their company and ***************

ASI requests any documentation regarding this case be sent to ***************************************** for further investigation. We do understand that this case is regarding a preferred caregiver who lives in the same building with the client. ASI is further investigating this case. We are addressing the client's daughter's complaint through our human resources department. On Friday March 3rd, I spoke to ************************* about my $52.00 reimbursement for fingerprints that I took when I was interested in a job for this company. I sent ***** documentation That I paid for the prints and have yet to be reimbursed. I called ASI on 4/12/23 and spoke to ***** who advised me she would put my check in the mail, I have not received any reimbursement. I advised ***** on 3/3/23 that I would not be taking the job, so I would not be able to wait for a first pay check, because I would not receive one. Everyone who I speak with is reluctant to reimburse me for my fingerprints, which I was assured that I would be.
