I hired this company for a move on April 21st, 2022. I paid them a total of $1609.16 which was based on them wasting time intentionally. This was a very small quick move (by their assessment and they stated there would be no issue in completing the job in the time allotted - which was a generous 6 hours) and was from two condo buildings within less of a mile of each other. I reserved the elevators on both ends and I was the only move allowed at the first building. The move started at 10am and I fully expected it to be done by the latest at 4pm because that was when the dock closed at the 2nd building. The move started out well and within an hour most of the items were loaded up into the truck. Then everything basically stopped and the ******* and another mover disappeared for about 2 hrs. I began to get concerned about the slowdown and went outside my apartment to see that the same company was doing a move on my floor and using the same elevators. I called the company and expressed concerns about the ******* had disappeared and that their company should not have scheduled a move on the same day on the same floor in the same building because that slows down everything for me. The company did not offer any solutions for my issues/ concerns. I also confirmed with the first building that they were not authorized to have any other movers that day EXCEPT for my unit. For two hours we were at a complete standstill. I had to physically assist in the move to complete the move by 4pm. They charged me a bogus extra 1/2 hr. Their solution to this is to refund me the 1/2 hr (which the billed me incorrectly). I would like them to credit me 2 hours because this move was at a standstill for 2 hour due to their unethical tactics and for scheduling a second move on my dime. Would appreciate in coming to a resolution and like I said this was a tiny move and asking for 2 hour reimbursement on a 8.5 hour job is reasonable especially when 1/2 hour was a bogus charge.
