I paid the co-pay for a visit I paid to this clinic on 07/20 as they have a policy that the co-pay has to be paid before the visit can be made. I paid cash and was not given a receipt. I remember distinctly paying the co-pay as it was the second time the clerk asked me to pay a specialist payment rather than the $10 that was due for an OB/GYN visit which is considered primary care for women. I received a **** in the mail yesterday for $10 and so I called in to ask why I received a ****. They claimed that because they did not have a receipt on file that I must not have paid the co-pay. Their claim is not based on anything other than the clerk's failure to provide a receipt for me, it is not based on any amount perceived to be missing in their accounting, despite their demand that the co-pay be paid upfront. They are assuming because they cannot find a receipt that I did not pay the co-pay although I distinctly remember doing so.Customer response
