      I am being invoiced for a contract that I did NOT sign. I cannot afford the service which I had previously been able to pay for. My financial situation has dramatically changed. I had been a good customer for over 20 years and now need them to reconsider repeatedly invoicing me. My fear is that they will affect my excellent credit rating, which, as a 60-yearold single widow is very, very important to me.

      *****************************, CEO and Founder, - *******************************************, My email on April 4 to *********************, *******************************, *************************************, Cision ****************************** The Cision Media Directory has been ON (FINANCIAL) HOLD and not accessible to me online since January 30.I'm not paying $734.39 (see invoice below) for services that I can't and don't receive. And to be honest, services that I didn't renew in the normal manner that I have done for decades, receive a contract, review pricing & services, discuss and sign. There is no signed contract. For the first time, to my surprise, it became AUTOMATICALLY renewed.So please STOP billing me for services not received and never ordered through the traditional method - signed contract.       This business is strong-arming us into paying for a contract renewal we did not ask for and have requested more than a dozen times they reverse. From the complaints here t hey appear to have a history of doing this to clients. We are no longer utilizing their services, did not utilize what they are trying to bill us for and would like them to stop threatening collections immedaitely.

      Cision US retained our company credit card information after we requested that it was deleted from their system (which was confirmed by a Cision US account manager). On ***************************** processed an unauthorized automatic payment for $310 for a charge that we did not approve. We have reached out to numerous contacts at Cision US to get this resolved, with no response so far.

      I am in a similar situation as a previous post from 2022 where our press release went through editorial review, I provided all that was requested of me, and it was approved and published. A business, that is also a client of Cision, was cited in the press release as part of a legal news/call to action and became ***et, threatening action for information that was factual (and public!). Cision made the decision to unpublish the press release, and despite stating on its own website not to remove a press release as it will draw negative attention - they did it without even requesting how we, a paying client, would like the press release to be removed. As a result, Cision tarnished my clients brand and tried to state that we didn't adhere to certain policies that were pulled out of nowhere. When reviewing other press releases on the Cision news site - many, many other press releases violated the "new" policies that were placed on us after another Cision client complained. I have requested a full refund of ALL Cision services as we were not at fault for anything and followed the editorial guidelines when working with Cision. They have lost our trust 100% and play favorites, which is biased. It was such a terrible cluster of mess *** that my client no longer uses Cision, or my services, due to the terrible handling of this situation.

      I am a blogger and was added to the Cision database many years ago. I have attempted to get my profile information removed from their database since November of 2023. Despite making telephone calls and leaving messages at their *******, ******** office *************), my messages were never returned. In addition, I sent an email to *********************************** on December 12 for which I did not receive a response. I also filled out a form online on December 12 requesting my information be removed from their database. Case number ******** was opened, but no one got back to me. I am asking for my information/profile to be removed from this database immediately and I do not want to be contacted by this company ever again. I find it mind boggling that there is not a way to speak directly to someone from their organization to get this resolved. All of my attempts to correct this issue have been ignored.

      This business is attempting to bully us into renewing a contract with them. They appear to have a track record doing this to clients. We are no longer utilizing their services and would like the billing to stop immediately.

      This was properly auto renewed in July, but as a courtesy, Cision terminated the renewal and credited the invoice in September. Confirmation of the credit was sent to the customer on Sept. 20.

      I was added to Cision's Media Database without my consent, and they refuse to remove me. I've submitted the "Opt-Out" form on their website, emailed *********************************** emailed *********************************** and called their support line with no resolution. At this point, I'm receiving 3-5 emails PER DAY from various PR firms, when I never consented to be added to this database from the beginning. This is a huge inconvenience, and the fact that they've completely ignored my requests to be removed from their database is a major red flag. As a former journalist, I've recommended Cision to PR professionals in the past, but I will never be recommending this company again. They're selling journalists' information without their consent, and they're contributing to a massive influx of spam email.

      Hello,

      Cision complies with data subject requests of which we become aware.  But in this case, emails were not received; they were going directly to junk.  We have removed the media contact from our database and are investigating further to ensure similar requests are not being missed.  Thank you for calling it to our attention.

      I have been trying to cancel this account for months now, but they keep sending bills and threatening to send to collections. They must have an auto-renew on with no reminder. We have never used the service and simply want a refund for the amount we just paid to avoid collections.

      Here is the response from Cision. They are making no effort to maximize what we paid for

      Thank you for the update! The account's auto-renewal clause for next year has been stopped, which will prevent the account from renewing the contract that is currently active. The services you have will still be valid for your use until January 7th, **** if you choose to use them.
