They are a fraudulent and predatory group. I would not recommend them to anyone. It appears that they prey on people having financial difficulties. They actually end up with people paying more than the rodent amount. Their key word is estimated. My husband entered in contract with them for 48 months of payments. He doubled and tripled his payments to finish early. The have extended the terms. He has made approximately 54 payments and they still say he owes at least 10 more. He was never late with a payment. Presently he has an account balance which would reduce a final one time payment but Monarch says he must pay the final settlement in full without considering his current account balance and if there is something left they will refund! The amount my husband must pay is about $2,300 more than necessary. Monarch should be ***d but the have a stipulation that they have their customers sign waiving the right to join any class action brought against them. I did not sign or become a part of my husbands debt with Monarch, I would like to *** them since my husbands affairs directly impact me

My wife and I would like to share our horrible experience.Started with monarch legal group in 2019. Have been paying into their program for 5 years come March of 2024.(almost **** a month) Since then we've been served numerous summons by the Courts.We've sent monarch legal our paperwork every single time somebody's contacted us and uploaded into their so-called portal for them to review. When we've called to follow-up because we're concerned about court dates and making sure somebody's their representing us, they say the litigation department's handling it. And not to worry about it you will be notified when there is a change.Well the change was no one is representing us as like we were made to believe.The Missed court dates by monarch legal has put us in a position that they have started wage deduction on our paycheck. And this creditor has been in litigation with monarch for a year and they finally come to agreed price but I have to deposit more money($ *******) in to an account that I already pay $1494.61 to monthly. So they can make a lump sum Payment. So we do and Come to find out they did not use that money for this creditor like they said it was for. Instead they paid less urgent accounts first and now we ask them for help since they didn't provide the service they promised but took over ***** as payment the first year before monarch even started helping there customer, namely us. Every time we call them we are told we should have a phone call back within 72 hours. This phone call never comes and each time we follow up with another phone call we're told no one's available and we should get a phone call back within 72 hours.It's a vicious circle and now we're paying the price with wage garnishment on top of the monthly payment to monarch

Monarch has taken money from me for 4 years. I have never missed a payment. They have collected around ****** from me at this point. I have not heard from anyone in a year even though I had to go to court in 2022. My wages are now being garnished by **** and on top of it I continue to pay Monarch Legal Group. Only taken care of 44 % as of now and this is supposed to be done in 5 months! I can barely get by and have reached out to them over 25 times in the last 3 months. They also have had no response from my attorney, it has been escalated 4 times supposedly. I now can barely afford to keep my house and continue to reach out with no help. The highest level I am able to get to is a ******** Service supervisor at this company and after multiple promises from her to call me back without doing so, I do not know what else I can do. I now have horrible credit and now may have to sell my home of 20 years,. Something has to be done about this company. Does anyone know who I can turn to get help? ** Horrible**

Monarch has taken my money for almost 3 years now and done virtually nothing to settle my debt. The * rating is real. This company is terrible.

I regretted my experience with this company. Despite their promises to help me settle my debts, they only worsened my financial situation. Month after month, I made payments to Monarch, expecting them to work on my case diligently. However, they focused on charging me exorbitant fees. If it weren't for the help of ezrecoup 'com, I would certainly be filing for bankruptcy right now. Making things right with my debtors will cost me an additional $35,000, after already spending $29,000 to have them represent me in settling debt. I received several summons for debts, which I would forward to their representatives and follow up on, but they always lied about working on it. Monarch's incompetence had disastrous consequences, putting my company and employees in a very precarious situation. I'm glad to see the day when companies like this get punished for obviously robbing unsuspecting business owners. I will give my time to initiatives that put an end to influence of companies like this.

Horrible company. I went into an agreement with Monarch to help settle my debt. I've paid $17,000 in 3 years. After 3 years of upholding to my part of the agreement, they didn't settle my discover account as they agreed to. My employer received a garnishment to collect debt of $15,000 because of unpaid discovered card. The discover account debt was more than where I started 3 years ago. I called Monarch and they couldn't do anything for me so they cancelled by representation and asked that I try to negotiate with Discover on my behalf. I contact the legal group for discovers. Unfortunately they can't do anything for me but proceed with garnishment. The legal group for Discover did state Monarch made NO ATTEMPS in 3 years to settle the account. So after paying $17000 in to a company to represent me on settling debt, this company did not settle my debt and it will cost me an additional $15,000 to make things right with Discover. This is a personal out of pocket expense of $32,000 from an original $24,000 . This company should be sued for this.

This company took over $25,000 from me then canceled my account, did not contact me and refuses to give me any information or any access to my online portal. We only had 1 year left on our contract and they canceled. I do not know what accounts have been paid, haven't been paid, etc.

WORST Decision ever. I only have ***** debt and thinking it would be a good idea to pay it in one payment as I like my finances to be on check but as I ended up with this company they ruined my credit score. I ended up paying almost ***** to them but left with a bad credit score and not all debts were settled. I wished I had just paid it myself. Its a ***************. They missed their settlement payment and ended getting a summons. I asked ******* what benefit did I get if she were to assess and she said I said 100 dollars. That's frustrating with a bad credit score I cant even apply for a car. From a credit score close to a 800 it went all the way down to 400 so PLEASE don't get fooled by this company.

Worst place ever all lies and no reprsentation. We paid ****** ***** for 3 years not even 25% of our debt was paid. We had a four year contract with this compny for the first year and a half most if the payment went to the fees. When we got summons for debts I would forward them to their team. I would call and make sure they were recieved. My husband's check was garnished for one and they did nothing about it never went to court to work anything out prior to garnishment. We have since then had toclaim bankruptcy to stop the garnishment as well as 5 other summons that they never acted on. We were charged ***** for everypayment that was sent to a debitor. We had one that was a ***** payment that was charged ***** to pay. When asked what do we do we were told we were on our own they could reduce my payment ***** a moth and we would have to pay the garnihment. Nothing we were told was true. They take their money first which is a retainig fee. They also will not represent you in court you have to pay their lawyer for that. These are just some of the things that happened in 3 of our 4 year contract. After we get our bankruptcy done we have obtained a lawyer to *** this company.

Monarch Legal Group sounds good on paper. They promise to reduce your debt while consolidating your payments. They mention they make their profit by the reduction of debt as part of the settlement process with your creditors. The reality is that they charge large fees upfront so that your pool of money to pay creditors initially stays very low. Knowing you may cancel later on, they will have made their money from you from these early fees and then have little reason to push for a reduction of debt or quick settlements. This means that in the long run, you will likely pay more than you would have to your creditors, as the money "saved" goes into the pockets of Monarch and your payments are stretched out due to a very slow settlement structure. While you get temporary peace of mind it is mostly an illusion as the service you are promised is managed poorly and it is advantageous for them to draw the process out as your credit suffers. In my situation I was also taken to court and forced to settle out of pocket with a creditor that Monarch failed to reach an agreement with which they claimed they were negotiating with. Then money was ordered to be taken out of my check as my legal representation (from Monarch) did not show up in court, which created a scenario where I had to deal with that issue on my own as well. In summary, I do not recommend Monarch Legal Group. They are unreliable and will make money regardless of if they reach an agreement with your creditors at all. If they don't reach an agreement, then your payment schedule gets stretched out as they get their payment through your money which they are managing.
