The company came out 10/5/2022 to check and clean Boiler. The minute they left the boiler stated to make loud noise. So they back and said needed a part for ****** I bought it they came back and put it on. On 10/08/2022 they were back.then I had to call again the guy said nothing wrong, had a very nasty attitude. Then on the 26th had to called them back again because for some days the gas was going on and off and making a loud noises, so I just cut the heat but befor I cut it off I made video of the noise and the gas going on and off and then it would just cut, then it come back on during the same thing. So I said I better cut it off and call someone else. So I called another heating company because now I am afraid.So I feel I should get every honest dime that I paid out for nothing. I paid ***** for cleaning ****** for a part I didnt need, The other company that came I paid ***** to fix what they didnt. Also my ***** I gave for a tip. Total of ******. I am a senior and on a fixed income and have been letting these people take care of things for a long time, they put my boiler in, and now they treat me like nothing even when I called the officer to complaint. No more with them, just want my money returned.Business response

10/5/22 Our first visit was for annual maintenance. $90.00
10/8/22 A service call was set for an issue with the heat and the gas valve was replaced. $594.
10/26/22 A warranty call was schedule for an issue with the heat. 10/28/22 I, ***, spoke to ********** this morning and her statements do not match our records. She stated that on our third visit the technician did not even come inside and the she told me that it was making the noise while he was there. Those two statements contradict each other.
10/27/22 A warranty call was scheduled for a strange noise and the unit constantly cycling and a video was played for us over the phone. A technician was dispatched and he was turned away at the door. Whomever answered the door said the issue had already been resolved.
10/28/22 In my conversation with ********** she said she called another company and they tightened up some wires and the unit stopped making the noise. We clearly were prepared to honor our warranty on her part and it is possible that in the process of installing the new gas valve some of the wire were not connected all the way. However, that is why we have warranties and return at no extra charge if there is an issue with our work. If a customer wants to call another company that is fine but we are not responsible for that.
At this time we will not be offering any refunds, but we will continue to honor our one year warranty (against manufacture's defect) for all services rendered.

******************* I was charged for something that was not needed. I want my refund. And the person they sent out did not come in and was very nasty to me and my granddaughter. Since he refused to come in we had to get my boiler fixed. I do have 3 witnesses that was at my house at the time. The owner heard the noise because I recorded it to let him hear it. If a person refused to come in and kept saying nothing is wrong , I did what I am supposed to do and that is call someone else. This is not the first time they have send people out with nasty attitudes. I got witnesses that even try to ask him to look at it and he refused and left. I have cameras.Business response

I will gladly look at the camera footage from ALL, especially the one prior to the last one of the visits, because I will agree that on the last visit we did not come in because we were turned away at the front door by a relative of yours and it was on that day that you played the audio for me to hear. However, if you already hired another company to come out and turn us away at the door I fail to see how that is our fault. We obviously were willing to honor our warranty as we gladly came each time you called.Customer response

My new furnace was installed AABAL during the week of January 25th, 2021. There were numerous issues with the installation. The furnace was first installed on 1/25 and stopped working on the night of 1/25. On 1/26 a service professional returned and several fuses blew in the unit. The service professional was unable to get the unit working on 1/26 and stated that a new circuit board was needed. We were again without heat on 1/26. During this time we asked for our new furnace back but it was gone and we were stuck with this. On 1/27 the service professional installed the circuit board and the unit still struggled to work. Finally by the end of the week 1/28 the unit was properly workin. A fuse blew again in the spring and AABAL replaced the fuse. This week 5/18 AABAL was out again and several fuses blew in the unit. The rep stated it was a wiring issues and he would return 5/19 to repair issues. 5/20 The owner of the company stated that he will not fix issue.Business response

I completely agree with most of the customer notes on this account with a couple one exception and one addition. First I would like to add that the customer was provided an agreed upon $200 credit for the inconvenience of the furnace having issues right when it was installed. More importantly I emphatically contest the statement "The owner of the company stated that he will not fix issue." It was explained that the reason the furnace and air conditioner would not come on was because they had a problem with their low voltage house electric running from their thermostat to their furnace. Due to Chicago code a licensed electrician needs to be hired to repair house electric which was ran in conduit. I offered to act as a general contractor for them if they could not find one but they felt I should have to pay for the faulty house wiring. I disagreed but assured them I would stand behind our warranty on our new furnace and if they had any issues with the furnace itself we would gladly return anytime. They have since attempted to cancel they're credit card payment to me. I am not willing to go ignore Chicago code and I certainly am not interested in warrantying something we did not install.
