1 starAs per some of the complaints below, this is regarding COBRA. I have been using THIER auto-deduct system for my monthly payments. Of note, "I" can not pick the date that the funds are paid. They determine that the date the funds are withdrawn from my account are the 5th of the month. The bill is due on the 1rst of the month. Again, "I" can not change the date on their system to have my payments made on the 1rst as I would wish. - SO, My PHARMACY gets cancelled until the payment goes through and then the system has to process that payment (only twice a week, not on the weekends. - I started calling about my Pharmacy coverage because Optum Rx sent a cancellation email to me (it went to SPAM and I didn't see if for months. I am on COBRA b/c my husband, the employee, died.) So, in January 2025 I wanted to be sure everything was OK. And it was. So I had prescriptions sent to mail order. On the 31st. Electronically. Optum didn't process it until days later and by then they determined that I had no coverage. This began a saga of DAILY phone calls. Everyone at BSwift promising to escalate my case. Also stating that on Autopay my coverage should not stop. (Today someone told me I should not use autopay!) - HOW CAN A COMPANY have a system that has **** in failure concerning a medical necessity. I AM A PHYSICIAN and this is absolutely outrageous.Review fromJasmine L

1 starThis company has been an absolute nightmare to work with. I signed up for insurance through my company and paid on July 12th. It is now August 5th and they have not been able to activate my policy with Anthem. I have called/escalated 5 times now and every time the agent talks about having to send a file over. This clearly is not effective and not working.Review fromKatherine C

1 starMy employer started using bwift for our insurance while I was on a long term disability leave. Apparently, I owed a balance on my health insurance and it was cancelled without any notification at all! When I called BSWIFT to pay the past due balance and have my insurance reinstated, nobody seemed to know how to do it. They tried to send me back to my HR department when HR told me to call them. Im on a medical leave and need my insurance. I find it hard to believe in the only person this has ever happened to, last I heard someone was supposed to escalate this situation and get back to me. I havent received a call back yet.Review fromAnn-Marie R

1 starBswift is the administrator of my employers benefits. While on a leave for a work injury, I was required to pay my insurance premiums out of pocket as I was not receiving a paycheck from which to deduct them. The premium was paid in full by check which was promptly deposited. Two weeks later I received a threatening notice saying I had not paid at all and my benefits are at risk of being cancelled. Either this is a phishing scam to see who will double pay or this company is too big and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Additionally, when they send a threatening bill, they do not send the calendar period to which the premiums apply or any clarifying information. Its just a request for money.Review fromGlenn J

1 starMy wife and I retired and went on Cobra just this month. Today, my wife was advised today by ********* she did not have prescription benefits. ********'s made a phone call, I assume to Anthem, and was advised her prescription benefits were cancelled in error for some unknown reason? Next, I called Bswift and spoke with ******** who was helpful and reached out to the Cobra Benefits Admin while I was on the phone. The Cobra benefits person's first name I believe was ***** and she advised ******** she would correct the error immediately and advised we are good to go as she fixed the error. My wife then makes another trip to ********* only to be told again she had no benefits. I called Bswift back and the recording cited a case number and advised it was resolved and closed then a Bswift rep, who was not helpful answers (should have got her name). She insisted she could not help and needed to transfer me to the escalation line but that the wait was 35 minutes. Not having any other choice, I was transferred and waited on hold. After about 15 minutes I was disconnected exactly at 4 PM CST/5 PM EST. So I called back Bswift back and spoke with a ******* and connected the dots as to why my call was dropped when he advised they had gone home for the day. So I guess when the clock hits closing time, everything just shuts down and the heck with the people who have patiently been waiting on hold? This aside, wife has some health issues going on now and needs this fixed! I bet if any of the Bswift execs had an issue like this with a loved one they would feel exactly like we do! I can only conclude they do not really care. So in the end, still waiting for a resolution. UGH!!Review fromYing L

1 starI must express my frustration with this company, our designated benefit provider. The customer service experience has been extremely disappointing. It's evident that their representatives are working from home, as during calls, background noises like barking dogs and sounds of domestic activities are disturbingly common. The situation worsens when attempting to connect with a representative, as wait times can extend to 1-2 hours, only to have the call abruptly disconnected. As a back-office employee, I often find myself assisting my frontline colleagues who are responsible for serving school meals. They simply don't have the time to endure such prolonged waits, so I've taken on the responsibility of making calls. Unfortunately, the customer service we've encountered is far from satisfactory.Numerous errors have come to light, such as charging individuals who opted out of insurance and overlooking those who actually enrolled. A prime example is a co-worker who, after the pandemic, enrolled in insurance but failed to notice a deduction missing from his paycheck for half a year. When he needed the insurance due to an accident, the company blamed him for not checking his paystub.Despite being cautious and obtaining confirmation from a supervisor in December, backed by email proof, they still managed to mishandle my ****************** I discovered the error before receiving my pay (thanks to checking online paystubs in advance). This level of inconsistency and incompetence is unacceptable.I strongly advise against using this company if you wish to avoid internal complaints, employee dissatisfaction, or even legal issues. Their services are subpar, and the risk of significant repercussions for both employees and the company is simply not worth itReview fromMichelle F

1 starI have had so many issues with Bswift. I have called many times since April and been told, someone will call me back with no return call. I have said the same thing about my issues every time only to be told I have a balance. that's not the issue. The issue is that Bswift incorrectly billed be and then added additional money to my bill due to some error on their part. They don't seem to care despite many calls, chat and reaching out to them on social media. they are awful for Cobra.Review fromDon M

1 starI have never had so many problems with a company before. I set up automatic billing for my cobra benefits. It ran smoothly for two months and then on the third month I got a letter in the mail TWO DAYS before the grace ****** ended saying I had not paid. I went on and it said I was set up for automatic billing. I called them to get it corrected and they said at this point I would have to mail a check and pay a late fee, or pay by card which is AN ADDITIONAL $20 CHARGE FOR USING A CARD. I went ahead and mailed a check because the late fee was $3. I also on that call made sure I was set up for automatic billing so this wouldn't happen in the future. They confirmed that it was all corrected. It happened again the next month! For FOUR MONTHS, I set up automatic billing and got charged late notices, because they wouldn't bill. I have spent a stupid amount of time on the phone with these people. FINALLY it started working for about 6 months, and then today I got another notice. This time it said I was late and had to sign up again from scratch and restart the process because the original company I worked for changed their name! I looked at my communications on bswift and never got a notice (their records even show they did not communicate) that I would have to set up a new username and password or that my automatic billing would have to be set up again. THIS COMPANY IS A BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS. I have never had so many headaches. I know it is just $3 for late fees or $20 for using a card, but come on! How many times can you set up automatic billing and get no communications until the last second that THEY never charged you? Then they charge you extra. Total BS. Someone put this company out of business.
