I attended One stop beauty school , ******* this time of trying to get my degree as a nail tech I experienced the worst time of my life . I started with being told School would be 9am to 5 pm hours and some Saturdays . when class did happen the instructor aka the owner would take personal appointment of ****** and nails and would have the students and I the same piece of papers to do daily . I came into the school knowing a nice amount of nail procedures . I left the school with the same knowledge I came with . we would address these issues to the teacher and unfortunately they where all ignored .we graduated without being able to pass the test which has personally effected my daily living . BOTH mentally and emotionally I have had trouble getting employment and have lost money by not receiving the education I payed for .

This is a student that the main instructor personally mentored and hired as an apprentice at our salon during her training, as a W-2 employee. She received the utmost personal one on one training directly from me. She participated in the graduation because this was a our first graduating class and she surpassed her required hours of 350hrs to complete the program. We did not release her transcript because she still has an over due balance. She is responsible to study and use the materials provide to her, to practice chapter exams to pass the mock test. We also gave her a $2,000 scholarship that she did not use to pay her tuition--this is due to our in experience of not having her sign a contract to use the scholarship money to pay her tuition, we just gave her the scholarship directly in trusting that she would pay towards her tuition.
She is still able to come and take the practice mock exams anytime. Her passing the mock exam is all up to her and her dedication in actually completing all the chapter tests to help her pass. She has access to all practice and chapter tests. We cannot release her transcript until she completes payment of her tuition.
