I bought coverage for my 2019 ****** pathfinder about 2 years ago. Everything was explained to me wonderfully and I chose the complete care plan because it covered literally everything and was only 27 bucks a month. Fast forward 2 years and the car just randomly stops one day. We have it towed to the dealership and told we need a $7000.00 dollar transmission. I called olive and they told me to have our service tech call them with a repair estimate. About a week later, the next call I got was the dealership telling me our car was repaired and ready to pick up. Just had to pay our deductible to the dealership and off we went! Incredible customer service on *********************** part! Even the repair tech at the dealership told me that this vehicle service contract company was one of the most painless ones that he's ever had to deal with. I was skeptical at first but this company delivered on their product flawlessly and saved my family a giant repair bill! Will recommend to anyone on the future!Repair Ventures, LLC Response

I bought the **************** coverage, policy # cxxxccccccc effective xxxcccc to ccxcccc The policy is under xxxccc and ccxcccc cc was added 01/08/24 as additional owner of the policy. My car, Infiniti, 2019, QX50, with a vcr engine. The vcr actuator broke. We dropped off the car on 12/23/23 at ******************* to diagnosed the problem.************** filed a claim in my behalf with *****.On 1/03/24, I was told that ***** claims ( Repair Ventures Lle) denied the claim. On 1/4 and 1/5, I made several calls to ***** claims to ask why our claim was denied and I was told that the part that broke is not covered. But, ************** adviser told me that it is part of the engine power train and should be covered.***** claims they only cover the parts inside the engine block and not parts outside and attached to the engine block. On 1/8/24, I talked to ***** customer service requesting for refund of the policy premiums I have paid them. They declined my request. So, I am filing a complaint against ***** . Com (Repair Ventures, Llc) for their failure to honor their policy terms and deceiving the consumers on not very clearly stating the coverage, which to me is a wrongful representation, and additionally based on the following reasons:1. As per ************** adviser, the part that failed is part of the engine.2. ***** accepted giving us coverage of my car with VCR engine.3. The policy said that on Engines: all internally lubricated parts contained within the engine block is covered.Since ***** did not provide me the coverage which I have paid, I am requesting your help to get the money I have paid them please, which is $483.00.Thank you,CRLRepair Ventures, LLC Response

Hello ******, thank you for bringing your situation to our attention. Olive sells mechanical breakdown insurance to consumers for their automobiles. Olive is not the coverage administrator of the mechanical breakdown insurance and does not therefore review, ****** or deny claims, or have any role with respect to the payments of claims. Our records indicate that on March 27, 2022, you purchased a mechanical breakdown insurance policy for your vehicle (Policy). In an attempt to further assist you, we forwarded your review to the coverage administrator QBE ************************ **** (QBE), the company that has the contractual obligation to adjudicate and pay valid claims under the terms of your Policy. It is our understanding from QBE that your claim was regarding a repair to your vehicles variable compression ratio (***) actuator, a part which bolts on to the outside of the engine block. Per QBE, the *** actuator is not listed for coverage under your Policy. Furthermore, since the *** actuator bolts to the outside of the engine block, it is also not an internal lubricated part contained within the block that would be covered under your Policy. As a result, *** denied the claim. Moreover, no refund is due at this time if you elect to cancel your Policy because you have had full coverage during the time the Policy has been in effect. For any further questions or concerns regarding the claim determination, please contact QBE directly at *************. Thank you.Review from Julia H

Purchased ************ Level Warranty. My uConnect Navigation stopped working. ******** told me I needed a new unit. Service **** called H**32323436373834H and was told a claim inspector would be out within 24-48hrs to take pics. A week later someone finally showed up. Five days after that I had to call to find out the status. H**32323436373834H denied my claim. It specifically states in Terms and Conditions under section 5B "Expanded Electrical" that Factory Installed uConnect Systems are covered. I was told by the H**32323436373834H rep that since my radio/GPS is not connecting with the satellite, it's considered a computing issue which makes it an ineligible H32**3337333631323737H. She directed me to #** (c) under the section "What is Not Covered" which states that absolutely no H32**3337333631323737H will be covered if it's directly or indirectly caused by, resulting from, or in connection with: (c) partial or total unavailability or failure, or series of related involving or affecting the use or operation of, access to or the processing of any computer, hardware, software, data, information technology and communications systems, electronic device, server, cloud... Consumers look at all the ********** items under "What is Covered" and think how great this extended warranty is (the bait) but it doesn't give a true representation of what H32**3337333631323737Hs are really covered. You need to scrupulously read thru the 36 items/services listed under "Not Covered" (the switch) and have the foresight and knowledge about auto H32**3337333631323737Hs in order to have an understanding of when/how the H32**3337333631323737Hs fall under their list of not covered parameters. I asked the rep in what circumstance would a new uConnect unit actually be covered and I was told it would be covered if a CD got stuck inside it. I was dumbfounded. My H32**3337333631323737H would be the exact same as a stuck CD, yet my claim was denied because theyve tied it to a computing issue. What a joke.Repair Ventures, LLC Response

10/16/2023 If I could give them zero stars I would. Had a warranty with them two years for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler **. When I started the policy 8/21 I told them about the modifications of my jeep and they knew it was modified. Fast forward, submitted a claim, took them forever to get to it after initially denying it. Finally mechanic diagnosed my issue as a blown gasket which is covered by Olive. Only to have the under terms and conditions they dont have to pay do to my jeep being modified, again I told them it was modified prior to getting the policy through them. So now Im stuck having to eat a 5k plus bill. I asked for a full refund ** theyve done nothing for me. Only to have them say no! Stay away from them if all possible.AGAIN STAY AWAY!!!Repair Ventures, LLC Response

My car has over ******* miles and I got the warranty at ******* and youre saying its impossible for transmission issues 30 miles later which is false. Especially with ****** and its bad reputation for transmission breakdowns due to it being CVT. Saying its a previous issue is false. And I am going to the court house today to start filing court papers and I am taking you to court to get you to pay for these issues that are NOT pre existing. As I been waiting 2 weeks for a phone call back from the supervisor and no call so therefore I have no choice but to take you to court you will receive the papers in the mail at your headquarters in ******* ******** and this is for Olive. If only you guys could have been more civil it didnt have to go to court. You all know this is going to be in my favorRepair Ventures, LLC Response

I do not agree with your statement. If I could give negative 100 stars I would. Worst **************** in the world. Take my advice everyone. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I have a 2019 ****** Altima that I purchased warranty on august 31st 2023. Then 3 weeks later I had issues with my car and the company refuse to fix it because they believed the condition was pre existing when it was not: and I made very valid arguments on olive: there was an invoice in July that stated the transmission was slipping, however a slipping transmission does not mean I need a new transmission then when I took olive to court, ************************* (worst person in the world) said with the most traumatic voice I have ever heard in my life like out of a horror movie. I made a lot of valid arguments against olive in court.. and somehow he manipulated the judge for it to go in his favor even though it was not the right judgement they wrongfully allowed him to win and now because you did not want to compensate 6,000$ to me I plan on taking you to court for emotional damages as well which will turn 6,000$ into 30,0000$ because I have autism and I started getting PTSD because of olive. My dad is at risk of being in the streets because olive did not pay for something they should of paid.. because my dad paid for the repairs for my car with money he technically did not have. And now i have so much emotional distress. If you want to settle this civilly. Mail me a check for 15,000$ to the address you know.. If you do not. I will make sure the news knows about your company I will make sure ***************** and huge YouTubers know to not get olive and I will make you lose all your money causing you to go bankrupt along with taking you to court for 30,000$ my email you know it..And I have a Jewish lawyer and you know Jewish lawyers always win in court that and emotional distress is always in the plaintiffs favor. I hope you do the right thing olive and *************************.Review from Michelle E

I bought their extended warranty, because my car had 89k miles, I took my car in for normal service and because I was taking a long trip asked my **** dealer to check my vehicle out. The found an oil leak and that my water pump might fail. Id had no previous issues with my car. The dealer reached out to Olive Care, their inspector came out and looked at the car & said it was a pre-existing condition which it was not. Nothing had failed and there was no leak. But now Olive is refusing to fix my car. Its been in the shop for over a month. They didnt reach out to me, they are a scam, they do no inspections on the vehicle but they say something that hasnt failed YET is pre-existing. They are a scam, they lie. They dont want to cover your vehicle. They just take your ********** wasnt like I paid for the cheapest warranty either. I paid for their highest level.Repair Ventures, LLC Response

I have a 2016 Suburban that I purchased new with an extended warranty when I bought the vehicle. It has expired now and I have been shopping for a third party policy now that the vehicle is paid off and I am probably going to keep it. I asked for a quote from Olive, and I spoke to **** who called to explain to me that a Suburban is too expensive to cover so they do not cover suburban. I could not tell if it was just my suburban and they were discriminating just at me or if anyone who calls with a suburban is denied any plan at all. The option to select a suburban is available so you would think it was an eligible vehicle. My suburban is a 2016, has ***** miles and i have never let the oil go passed **** miles before changes, always synthetic, and i had the transmission fluid and differentials drained and refilled at ****** miles so I have not mistreated this vehicle. we pamper it. I guess this was a sign that i didn't really need the service contract. It just seemed odd to me that they wouldnt cover my vehicle.Repair Ventures, LLC Response

Hi *******, thank you for bringing your situation to our attention. Olive sells vehicle service contracts to consumers for their automobiles. Please note that any final determinations regarding vehicles eligible for coverage are decided by QBE ****************************** (QBE), the coverage administrator for Olives policies. It is true that some vehicles that are the same year, make, and model as yours are eligible for coverage under some Olive policies. However, it was determined based on the criteria set by QBE that your vehicle was not eligible for coverage due to its year, make, model, and mileage. I've had my top tier warranty for years. I took my car to the dealership due to transmission issues. The dealership called me and said that a representative with Olive had come to look at my car. He told the dealership that my claim was being denied and that I should just call and cancel my warranty. No one from Olive called me. I called Olive to find out what was going on. The woman I spoke to was very nice. The man I spoke to was quite aloof. Based on the fact that I had a flashing light on my car, placed there, but the tow truck, on the roof of my car, my claim was denied! My complaint was forwarded to a supervisor and I've never heard anything back. I'm left with 1000's in car repairs, and threw all that money for this warranty in the trash. RUN!! THIS COMPANY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERSRepair Ventures, LLC Response
