We were a member of the difference dance company for the ***** season. In our contract with the company it stated that any scholarships received were the property of the individual dancer. Since leaving the company after finishing our complete contract. The owner ******************** is failing to release permission of the scholarships. She has been unresponsive to multiple emails over the past 6 weeks. Scholarships value is about *******Business response

Hello,
******************* has been harassing me and Ive had to get a lawyer involved. She sent an email saying she would take down multiple negative reviews of my company if I comply to her demands. She is accusing me of not honoring my contract but in it it says that dancers are not allowed to compete or perform choreography set at my company she did violated that and there for scholarships cannot be awarded. I would of waived this consequence had she not started harassing me and threatening me.
Thank you,
Melissa

I am rejecting this response because:This is absolutely not true. I sent multiple emails this summer asking for a resolution, not trying to harass. If she had responded I would not have had to send emails weeks apart. And the owner of the business has not once personally responded. I started correspondence back in July. And the assistant not the owner responded in middle of August. In that correspondence it was stated that if I signed an NDA I could have the scholarships. I replied three times and stated I would sign an NDA, and I will attach that as well. She did not respond at all to this after she offered the NDA. In the letter from her associate it never addressed using choreography at an outside location. I have never used her choreography other than under her company. There is absolutely no proof of my daughter using her choreography outside of events the difference attended. I don't even know how that is possible, as we have not competed since leaving the company. And if that was the case why did associate email not mention anything of the sort. I am still very happy to remove any negative reviews posted if the scholarships are turned over. In our contract which BBB has from my previous email. It did state that regardless of enrollment status the dancer owns scholarship. Her associate also noted that she can change contract at any time. Which is legally not binding and also does not comply with contract, she would of had to receive a signature on the addendum of said change in contract. The contract was never changed in the ***** season. Also *** her associate "defamed" me to our new studio as she forwarded that email to them, and that was not necessary. Most of that email was filled with things that are not true. If I had broken any part of the contract there should of been communication, and none was ever received. So I would say she actually harassed me. She also sent defaming text messages about me to others, which is also not professional as a business owner. I will attach that as well. She used the excuse she was venting to a friend. Well as a business owner, that is not appropriate.
I am still very happy to take down any negative review in exchange for scholarships.
Sincerely,
