Windy City Roofing proved to be exactly what I had hoped to find in a companyhonest, accurate, informative and competent sales personnel and a magnificent installation crew. The weather had not cooperated with roof installation days, but when they saw a good day coming, on Friday, they scheduled my installation for the following Monday. A double crew of excellent installers arrived by 7:30 am and the final cleanup crew left by 7pm! My home has four Apaches roofs and crews worked on all simultaneously to get the old (27 years old) shingles removed and installing new underpayment and shingles while also replacing a few moldy boards. I highly recommend this amazing company and crew!

We've worked with Windy City Roofing on two project: first residing our whole house, and then this recent project, our garage. WCR is alwasy very professional in planning and executing a project. Their communication up front is clear and their solutions are thorough. Documentation is comprehensive and clear -- all planning docs, contracts and consumer rights materials are delivered in timely fashion and explained carefully. And the work itself is performed on time, neatly, and follows the planning to the letter. But they're also very helpful in accommodating on-the-fly tweaks. Looking at my pictures you can see we had to move gutters, I asked if they could install a new light, and there was a rotting header over the garage door they repaired (structurally very well done!). And when the re-shingled the roof, they gave me a clear price on cost to repair any sheathing, so the addec cost there was both reasonable and not a surprise -- I could see exactly what I was getting and why. I also like the fact that the two projects we did with WCR were about 4 years apart, but everything went just as smoothly -- reliably consistent. We're a year in with the garage siding (and 5 years in on the house siding) and have not had the slightest indication of any leaks or gaps, and haven't had to ask them to return and review or check anything. We can't recommend Windy City enough!

I was referred to Windy City by a friend in the neighborhood that had roof work done. I needed to get shingles replaced due to storm damage, some flashing and fascia replaced due to a poor installation by the previous owner's contractor, and siding replaced on the west side of my house due to bad installation by the previous owner's contractor. ***** was the person that I dealt with for the inspection and estimate all the way through job completion. I felt that he was very knowledgeable, a straight shooter, and most importantly honest. I had a few concerns and he took the time to explain things to me and why my roof looks the way it does. He could have very easily suggested a whole new roof. Once we agreed on the scope of work and the price (less than I expected), he scheduled his crew. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, got all the work done in the timeframe that was promised, and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. I would 100% recommend this company and ********************* to anyone needing a roof or siding.

We had an outstanding experience with Windy City Roofing. ***** and his team were referred to us by a friend/colleague of mine who had some work done on her roof. Our roof was well past its useful life and there were no parts capable of saving or patching so it had to be replaced. When I met with ***** to sign the contract, I showed him a leak in one of our bedrooms that was getting worse with each rainfall. He then said he would try to do the roof that week (if our permit was approved on time) to avoid furthe damage to the ceiling. Unfortunately, the week went by and our permit application was still pending. The following week one morning, the weather forecast warned about a big storm coming and I was worried about our leak. Later that same morning I got a text from ***** explaining that he was driving to our place to patch the area of our roof where the leak was so that our ceiling wouldn't incurr further damage from the incoming storm while we waited for our permit to be approved. I was so incredibly grateful to ***** and his team for going the extra mile to protect our ceiling and patch our roof in advance of the storm! After getting that text from ************ was so relieved! I found this to be truly exceptional customer service and pure genuine kindness! A week or so later, our permit was approved, the roof was installed in one day (!) and the gutters were done a day later, also completed in one day. Everything looks outstanding and we are thrilled with our roof. Moreover, as a side not: my father is a professional contractor and I showed him our quote and he said all the products Windy city choose for our roof are top quality brands and are very reliable. I cannot rave enough about ***** and Windy City Roofing! They are excellent at what they do and trust that you are in good hands with *****!! I would recommend them to anyone needing any sort of work done.

******* was wonderful. He came right out with a reasonable quote. $1500.00 less than my previous one. The work was completed as promised and looks beautiful. I would recommend.
