We purchased a lift chair for our 87 year old Dad on Oct 28th, sale price was $1,25500. He was in the hospital for 4 months and just released on Nov. 13th. The chair wasn't used until the 13th and only for a few hours as he didn't get home until around 5:00 PM. We called Turk's Furniture to see about returning it as it didn't fit him well or recline far enough for him to elevate his broken foot. We removed the chair from his house on Nov. 17th and took it to my sisters. They told us they would come to her house on Nov. 21st to look at it to make sure it was still in like new condition, they didn't know if we would get our money back or do an in store credit. The chair wasn't damaged in any way and had protective covering on it. On the 21st they didn't come look at it, they called and said they weren't going to take it back. That's very sad when a business tells you one thing then they don't stick to what they say!! I will never purchase anything from them again and won't have anything nice to say either.Business response

Hello,
Please provide the name the purchase was made under. The name on this complaint is not in our system. The address provided brings up a purchase from 2021 and 2010. In order for us to look into this further we will need the correct purchase info.

*************** to the businesses question as to who purchased the lift chair. It was either purchased in my Dad's name (*******************) or my sister's ( *****/***************************), as they're the ones who picked it out, being my Dad had been in the hospital for 4 months.

This consumer is requesting a refund/return on an item that was not purchased in her name. Please see the attached document which includes our return policy. Our records show this purchase was a customer pick-up that was taken on 10/29/23. Per our policy stock merchandise in the home for longer than 7 days cannot be returned.
