      Thank you for accepting my complaint,June 2021 I requested a plumber from this company to fix my leaking **** kitchen faucet. It was replaced with a cheap version of delta, not of comparable value as stated in C. BASIC COVERAGE line 7 "AHS will use reasonable efforts to install Covered Items or parts of Covered Items of similar capacity, capability, color and finish" . My faucet was brushed metal finish, replaced with shiny fake silver finish, and a different brand. When compared at ********** , the **** was priced from $150-184.00 the Delta was priced at $99.00. While the licensed plumber was working on a leak in the bathroom he had his 14 year old son replace my kitchen faucet. He was obviously not licensed. Within two days my spray hose became unattached , as he did not correctly install it and put both connectors under the sink and glued the spray hose holder to my sink. 1. It was not comparable 2. His child did the work, not a licensed plumber. I complained they said he could come back , I declined as this plumber informed me I could pay him $700.00 out of pocket to fix the leak in my bathroom and would have to cut off the water from the well system for my entire block to fix it. I informed AHS I never want that plumber to touch anything here again as I did not trust him! They asked would I like an investigation opened I said Yes twice over the course of time till now, and was informed there is no record of this request. I asked for the complaint ***** and was given an email. I emailed, after nine days, no response. Called the company and I said I want a check for $150.00 when the escalation **** said it has been over a year I asked for their business license for the state of wa. I was put on radio silence and finally hung up. They contend it has been over a year , Yes , patiently I have waited for resolution, they have never even looked into my complaint. They did not live up to the contract for replacement parts and licensed repair people. *********************

      On July 1, 2022, due to company's promotional advertisement on TV and Flyer information by, I was encouraged to to sign up for the Platinum plan for my two properties (Account #********* and Account #********* for $60.82 a month for each property). The advertisement states that no inspection needed for the covered appliances but I still asked, how will you know that the items covered were in good condition and the reply of the agent is don't worry about it. Because of that of that concern, I asked for the copy of the contract, and I was told that it will be sent after 30 days form the date of contract. I even ask for contract copy by mail telling the agent that I am computer literate and could have problem downloading paperwork from the computer. I received the contract information by mail on Aug. 13, 2022 and was unable to read the details in it due to my wife's medical condition. On Aug. 14, 2022 my wife was admitted in the hospital up to Aug. 22, 2022 and I am very busy taking care of my wife. On Aug. 23, 2022, one day after my wife's hospital discharge, my air conditioner wouldn't keep my house temperature lower than 87F and the outside temperature 107F and affect my medically ill wife. I called for service and technician was dispatched twice to look at my AC and the final decision of the company is the not to fix it because it is my AC's pre existing condition which according to them is written on the contract. I tried to talk to a supervisor or to the manager to resolve the issue but all I got was several promises of call backs which never happened. When I cancel my accounts due to this issue, cancellation fees were charged on my two accounts which I paid just to relieve me with all of the pressure and stress due to this nature.

      I HAVE CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD TO COVER ALL MY APPLIANCES INCLUDING MY **** EQUIPMENT. THE HEATER FOR MY **** WAS NOT FUNCTIONING WHEN I OPEN THE **** IN MAY 2022. I REPORT THE PROBLEM TO ***. THEY CHARGED ME THE ********** ASSIGNED A CONTRUCTOR THE FIND THE PROBLEM. THE CONTRACTOR EVALUATED THE EQUIOMENT AND INFORMED *** THAT CAN NOT REPAIR AND MUST BE REPLACED. FOUR MONTHS LATER THE *** HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. I HAVE CALLED THEM MANY TIMES SO FAR, THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY REPEATED CALL. IN WRITING I ASKED THEM EITHER REPLACE THE EQUIPMENT OR REFUND MY PAYMENT OF THE AMOUNT OF CONTRACT. I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU ASSISTANT TO REMEDY MY PROBLEM.

      AHS is a home protection company advertising quick service request.. On 8/22/22 I called because my water heater was leaking. they assigned *******************, they came out 8/25/22, they are suppose to assess, report, get ok for repair. Today 9/8/22 is my 3rd call to AHS, they keep saying the matter will be a priority, yet ******************* tells me they are waiting for part approval?? My water tank has been leaking now for 18 days! I''m very concerned with possible damage with water going under the house PLUS we are in a draught and the waste of water concerns me... Every time I call its a different person, clearly that department has been out sourced, when I ask to speak to a supervisor, I am told there is none. I would like them to finish the job asap, pay for inspection to insure there is no water damage under the house, pay for the excess water bill.

      AMERICAN HOME SHIELD (AHS) was contacted the end of February 2022 to repair a Thermador cooktop.AHS assigned **************** ********************************************************** ************.Active did a virtual assessment, then send a technician out to repair. Active could not do the repair until AHS authorized the repairs.. Active said it was covered. Active claims the paperwork was submitted. AHS said they never received it. After several calls and several months and getting management involved on both sides. A new appointment was set Friday June 24,2022. The technician showed up started to work on the stove top and broke one of the ignitors on the stove ( the one he broke now does not work. The technician started to panic take pictures and claim its a big job and he needs a special wrench to take it apart and left.Flied a complaint with AHS and Active on Friday June 24,2022 in the afternoon. AHS claim they are not responsible and will contact ****************. Filed a complaint with Active there has been no response.As of July 4, 2022 several messages were left with no resolution.
