On 4/29/2022 I hired *************************** (Advance Blacktop Paving Service) to "resurface" my asphalt driveway. He came and did the job on that day. When it was done, he showed concern and said it would look better once he sealed it. The next day after inspecting the job, I noticed it was very uneven, many spots were not filled in and the edges were not clean and the main issue was that the asphalt was very spotty, nothing like the job he did for my neighbor last year. He also left a mess of asphalt that stuck to the sidewalk. I called and let him know these issues and he assured me not to worry and he would fix it all. He then called me later in the week and said he came by to check on it and that it was very bad and he let the company that supplied him the asphalt know how bad the mix was and he said they were going to replace the material for free and that he would come by later in the week to redo the whole job. (I have texts to confirm this). He text once more and delayed the Redo until that Friday. Since that text, he never showed up, has not answered my calls or texts. It has been 10 days since that Friday that he did not show up and no response. I now have a awful looking driveway that I fear will show issues in the near future. It seems that in order to fix this, I would have to hire another company to remove and redo this driveway. This is very unprofessional and I am looking for a refund. The total cost of the job was $1,500.00 that I paid in (2) checks. The Phone number BBB has listed is not the same as the one on the contract and the name is slightly different (Advance, not Advanced). Not sure if this was intended as a scam, but the owner name is correct on BBB and the contract....***************************. I also have video footage of the job he did.
