Horrible management company, especially *******************. She should be fired. If you're considering renting or purchasing property managed by Hughes Management, run for your life! Don't trust the positive reviews here, they're probably employees and friends/family of employees trying to keep their jobs because of how bad they do it. Just do a ****** search of Hughes and you'll see their 1-star rating. Don't trust the rating? Find out for yourself, move into a building managed by these clowns!

As a long-standing board member of a homeowners association I can say that Hughes Management is the best property management group I've had the pleasure of working with. They have been especially helpful with their consulting services and advising our HOA on fiscal policy, greatly improving the cash flow within just a few years. From any emergencies to routine maintenance their team has earned our trust in being our go-to resource whenever any issues arise. They keep operational costs reasonably low by having their own maintenance company. I look forward to continuing our partnership with them for years to come.Review from Mary C

Since Hughes has taken over our association, they have replaced roofs, epoxy all the garage floors, resurfaced our parking spaces, ALL WITHOUT A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT. This is tremendous effort on Hughes, treating the condo complex like it was their own. Kudos to them and keep up the great work.*******Hughes Management & Consulting, Corp. Response

I have had Hughes Management ** as our management company for over a decade and I can not say enough about them. They were hired after our old management company neglected our building for years and Hughes came in and helped to bring everything back up into compliance and helped us save money while doing it.When I see bad reviews of this company - what I see are entitled people who think the rules do not apply to them and do not be like being told NO.Hughes as been wonderful in being able to make sure that we all live in a community that is equal and fair to all and make sure that the boards needs and requirements are applied evenly.They have brought the value of our property up and we have not had to take out financing to make all these changes. This management companies is one of the best in the field. They enforce the rules. All the people leaving negative comments are the people who are the rule breakers. We finally found a great company. The last 3 management companies did nothing. Highest recommendations to Hughes.Review from Sharon S

Hughes Mgmt. has not extended/completed their FHA paperwork so anyone trying to buy or refinance their property are out of luck. How can a complex of over 283 units be locked out of FHA financing a home in Pembroke Estates because of bad administration because they did not complete their FHA paperwork.This is really bad management! when I asked to help me with this issue they were very rude and not helpful. They then wanted $150 to complete the paperwork from my broker. I paid the monies and still they will not help me with my FHA issue.All I am asking is for them to complete the paperwork so that I and others might be able to finance property under Hughes Mgmt. Between false claims with no proof against my property, an archaic system of communication, lies and downright rude behavior there is nothing positive about dealing with these people. The fees they charge are ridiculous to buy and sell property. They ignore your HOA's bylaws and charge you fees, and then ignore your formal challenges and demand you pay them regardless. They removed our recycling bins and never replaced them without explanation. Stay away from any of their properties if you can. You are better off looking anywhere else.
