I have a certificate that I have been trying to redeem and they say they are going to expedite it and credit my account and it never happens.This has been going on now for 2 months and will probably never be resolved.I will never do business with them again.Restaurant.com Response

if anyone is looking for their old Restaurant.com certificates, they are gone now. The company did some kind of update and wiped out all the old certificates, people were holding on to. They will tell you that their records show you never had an account with them. Then you show them proof of your emails and certificate numbers, even printed out certificates that did not have any expiration on them. They don't care, they will cease talking to you and won't answer any more emails. Some people are saying they even deleted their account, after they reset their password and made a new one. We had 4 certificates in 2023 left on our account. Now, they are all gone and it shows nothing. I don't know if they went bankrupt, they got a new owner, or just are having money problems. I highly suggest you DO NOT do any business with them. There is a strong chance, they will take your money and you get nothing in return. if they want to contact me and make it right, I'll amend my post here.Restaurant.com Response

I am seeing people posting the same issues that I have. I went to login, they said they had no record of my account even though I had been using it since 2012. They can't find anything regarding my name, account, etc.. and because of that I have lost lots of money. There was even a restaurant.com gift card that I won at a raffle event where I put those credits into my account, they can't find it, and after a month of multiple back and forth emails with their customer service, they haven't responded to my emails in about 2 months now. They are a **** company who stole my money. They succeeded in robbing me, and now I intend to let everyone know, in every online review site, the kind of company they are, and people should avoid them.Review from Sandra H

My company was providing service to employees to save money from Restaurant.com. I purchased a 6 month pass but the website doesn't give you much information. I emailed Restaurant.com in August 7, 2024 with my questions of how to use the pass and that their wasn't a selection of restaurants in my area. I emailed again since getting no response and again but asking for refund. This has been going on for weeks. Finally, I went through my company and they got my money refunded. On September 9, I got email from Restaurant.com only to say check other zip codes. Not answering my question about how to use the pass from one of the restaurants on the website. If it wasn't for my company intervened, I don't think I would have gotten my money back.Restaurant.com Response

Like these other people, I also have had my money stolen! I had $600.00 in my Restaurant.com account and when I recently went to login to my account it did not exist anymore! I emailed them 3 times and got no response! I came onto the BBB site and to my surprise the same thing has happened to many people also!I don't know what to do! they are taking money and robbing people!The money gift cards were given to me from my children as gifts. There you'll see the group of three-to-four-figure income men running the company, Restaurant.com. ***** ******* is the CEO of *********, who is the parent company of Restaurant.com. ***************************** is its CTO. Their website touts Restaurant.com as their "flagship brand." They should both be ashamed of themselves for running what appears to be a deceptive company with horrible customer service according to the numerous complaints online. Go right to the top with your complaints. They're the ones running this company.Restaurant.com Response

I have a Gift Certificate that the merchant refused to honor. I sent an E-mail to restaurant.com 13 days ago. The only response I've received is "Your request (#*****) has been received and our team will be looking into it."Restaurant.com Response

They deactivated my accounts and stole my certificates. I had an account with $250 in certificates. When my login did not work, I contacted customer support. They told me my account never existed. I had years of emails from them and I showed them the printed certificates associated to the account. Customer support stopped responding at that point.I had one additional account associated to an older email of mine. Most of the certificates on that account were gone. In 2023, I had 17 certificates. In 2024, I had 3. I still had $75 (3x$25) left for a ****************** that I liked. When I went to the restaurant, they told me they don't take Restaurant.com coupons. Per the coupon, you have to spend over $50 to get $25 off. The restaurant is listed on the site still and it was a recent coupon print prior to going to the ************* not trust this business. In the early days, it offered a good service. i had and used restaurant.com for years. they recently updated their website and lost my account. i had $300-500 in certificates. called and messaged and they say they are working on it for the last few weeks. it was a good place but now they have deleted my account an not working with me to fix it i will never use again unless they help.Review from Steve P

Wow. I see many other people are experiencing the same thing I am. I had 3 unused certificates and $650 in Restaurant.com gift cards that I've accumulated over the years, either from trading in previously purchased deals and the restaurant stopped participating or from buying them at a savings, and now NONE of it is showing up in my account. I read that they converted to points earlier this year, but I don't have any points showing in my account either. So they basically just wiped out my account and stole about $700 from me. I've e-mailed their support e-mail twice in the last week, with no reply so far. Based on what I'm reading here, I don't expect I ever will. Maybe we all need to speak with someone about a class action lawsuit.
