They have BBB on their truck. The Tech started out with $1700.00 for installing a laundry room faucet. I did not see the price of the faucet but it was an ordinary two hole faucet. I refused that price. Next price he quoted was $1,547.00. Next option was $1398.00. Next option was $930.00. The laundry room was tore upby that I mean he had the old faucets off the sink and lines tore out and washer moved out. I just wanted it all back together so I paid the $930.00. When he said $1,700.00 I should have showed him the door. I have a work sheet with the prices on itexcept he didnt write down the $1700.00it starts with the $1,547.00. I feel they are targeting the elderlyof which I am one. In Nov I will be 90 years old. This transaction was done on Sept 18, 2023 Job #******* Tech.was : *********************Review from Josh G

We had a blocked sewer line into our septic tank and hired this company because they were quick to respond. The sent a tech out to snake the line which wasn't successful. The second tech that showed up with the camera was able to force his way through the blockage but it still needed more work. We decided on the hydro-jet to clear the blockage and were quoted $2800, half of which we paid up front. It seemed very expensive but not knowing what kind of equipment or how involved it would be, we signed up. What showed up was ******* with a glorified pressure washer. They entered the line through the cleanout **** feet away from the tank and cleared the blockage. They were at my house for 1.5 hours including set up and clean up. Now the company wants the other $1400. I have never heard of ANY process that is worth this kind of money. After a few emails back and forth questioning these charges they will not reply any more. My employer had a similar process done on 150 feet of sewer line that was frozen and another local company charged $713. I recommend calling ALL other companies in the area before submitting to AHS's prices. I think I'd rather spend the other $1400 on legal fees at this point.Review from Steven b

My dad had a garbage disposal replaced that was leaking and was charged $1014. I feel that this company is taking advantage of the elderly people.Advanced Home Services Response

We are more than happy to discuss any price issues with your dad if he would like to call the office at ************. However our prices are set and do not change one bit for anyone in regards to age or any other demographic. Unless of course your father asked for a Sr ******** which we are more than happy to provide for all our elderly customers per their request.Review from Guy B

This business is about as crooked as they come. The first question out of my mouth was, "Do you work in ****************?" and ****'s answer was "yes." Then after asking me about 20 unnecessary questions, he wanted to charge me $156.00 just to get an estimate. NONSENSE! As a *********** Investor, I've never paid for an estimate in my life, and - as I told ************'m not about to start now! Read the other one star complaints. A question for BBB: How can you give these crooks an A+ rating when they have so many one star complaints???Review from Sharon L

There is a common theme throughout the complaints. I called them regarding a washing machine backup. They told me I needed a new sewer line, stat. I am elderly, living on a fixed income. Believing I had no choice, I agreed to a new sewer line for more than $19,000. They did the work (with a s**** up that caused water damage to my basement, and a $1000 reduction on my ****.) After it was completed, a kindly neighbor investigated, got two local companies to submit bids for the same work. Both bids came in at between $4,250 and $4,500. I had an attorney write them about this $14,500+ difference. Crickets. Not a word. I have reported them to the **************************** of the ****** of the Attorney General. I believe this company violated the ***** Consumer Protection Act, and it looks like I'm not the only victim. GET ADDITIONAL BIDS!!!Review from LuAnn S

Make sure get more bids before having Advanced Home Services do any work of you. We had this company do a sewer line and are still trying to resolve the real problemThey came December 30th and told us our sewer has failed and it was one thing after another. They gave us 4 different options and starting from $12,574 to $19,828. Starting with the first option to remove the blockage , to pipe burst then tell us we do not have grade and need a pump installed. After getting advise from professional plumbers after the fact, we realized we have been over charged close to twice of what we should have paid for. Mind you we paid the **** in full to avoid service charge and now that they have our money we are having difficulty getting the job finished properly and to resolve the issue.Review from Bat

The team that installed our split A/C were outstanding. Knowledgeable, forthright, and efficient, we enjoyed having them in our home. ******** ****** ******* ***** and Nephi were individually and collectively outstanding technicians. I would recommend them highly to anyone needing A/C installation or repair work.Review from Brian

Wow. This business is there to rip people off! We had an issue with our AC unit. Something small. They came out quickly and said we had to replace the whole system, and the quote was $14,000 for their bare bones unit and system with no bells and whistles. $14,000!!!!!! The minute I said we were going to get quotes from others before deciding, he quickly got up and left. We ended up having a guy come out and fix our problem for only $150. It now runs just fine. Do not trust this company. They just want your money. They probably try and trick people into paying such a high amount before they get a chance to get multiple quotes. Horrible company.Review from Lori J

I had 2 solenoids replaced in my sprinkler system. I priced the solenoids and I could have bought them for less than $30. Their worker spent less than 1 hour to replace. Their charge was $528. Seems a little high? Get multiple estimates!
