On Saturday 6/25 I stopped at Wrenco Arms in ************ to purchase a firearm for our family camping trip. While they were running the background check their clerk took payment for the purchase. We waited there for 30 minutes for this process to take place and then we were told it was on delay for some reason. I was informed by the clerk that it would not take more than 72 hours for this process and I told him I just wanted my money refunded and that they should not have ran my card before the process went through. Since I was unable to leave with my purchase I asked for a refund and I was told by the owner that they could not issue a refund. He said, We cant issue a refund because the serial number for the firearm was linked to all my personal information. We stopped in Monday 6/27 and they were not available so I called and left a message. I called again Tuesday 6/27 in the morning and no one answered so I left another message and then I emailed the address that was on my receipt them still did not get a response.At this point I called my arms broker in **********, ** and asked if they were not able to offer a refund because they were running a background check. He told me that it was absolutely untrue and they should have issued a refund since I did not walk out with my purchase. After that I called US Bank to put a stop payment on this purchase since I did leave Wrenco Arms with anything. I am very unhappy with the retailer for refusing a return even though be asked to do so. I have reached out to my bank (us bank) and they are providing them with false information,
