We purchased a new Jacuzzi Spa from Brady's a couple years ago. It started leaking one year ago. I phoned Brady's and they sent a repairman out. The repairman did some work, but the leaking continued. So, they sent another repairman out a few days later. They moved my spa and set it on two 2x4's and said they'd be back the next day. (This was summer 2020.) Well, they never came back. Our spa sat all winter on the 2x4's. In the summer of 2021, I spoke to Mr. Brad Brady in-person who assured me he'd have his repair team take care of it right away. I waited another couple months with no sign of Brady's repairmen. I phoned and reminded them, but my phone call went unreturned. Finally, I went back into their store and reminded them that they still needed to fix my spa. They sent another repairman to my place the next day. He said he couldn't fix it that day, but would be back "tomorrow." It's been two weeks, and no sign of any repairman. Brady's has lost all credibility!Business response

MR ****** purchased his Jacuzzi on 12-16-2017 On 12-21-2019 MR ****** reported a leak. WE found it leaking from a few places and fixed them. We informed MR ****** that two contributing factors that caused the leaks could be the fact that the tub is not on a approved base and the water corrosion indicates a improper ph balance.
The improper base is a big deal as it voids the factory structural warranty and could contribute to the tub plumbing being stressed. Even though the tub was not on a approved base we covered the leaks under warranty.
When Mister ****** came into the store and told me it was still leaking and he felt it needed to come into the shop to be fixed I called everybody involved and told them I wanted the tub moved to a temporary location and ran on top of supports so we could see if any water is coming out of the pan. We checked the tub 3 times over a 3 week period and could not find evidence of anything leaking. While we had the tub in the temp location MR ****** was supposed to build the gravel base. When we arrived to put the tub back the gravel base was not built and while we could see MR ****** in the home no one would answer the door.
We went back out a few weeks ago and the tub was drained so we could check it for leaks and there is still no gravel base to put the tub on.
We will be happy to move the tub back once MR ****** informs us there is a approved level base constructed to put it on.

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: Mr. Brady’s response is filled with untruths. First, when I purchase the spa, their salesman, Dan, assured me placing it on level ground was “fine.” Had he informed me that the spa needed to be placed on a gravel, or other, base, I certainly would have done so. Next, the spa never had any leaks prior to the time I contacted Brady’s in Summer 2020 that it leaked down to about half-full. Brady’s sent an unqualified repairwoman to replace the waterfall, but she failed and quit her job the same day. So, another repairman, Ray, came out. But, he didn’t fix the spa either. Then, Brady’s, not me, decided to take the spa into their shop. So, one early winter day in late 2030, three guys showed up at my door. They tried, but failed, to move the spa. Instead, they left it propped on 2 wooden 2x4’s and left, saying they’d return the next day. They never showed up, or phoned, again. The spa sat all winter long on the 2x4’s. Finally, in Spting 2021, I went into the Idaho Falls store and Demi red Mr. Brady, himself, that his crew still had not repaired my spa. After another in-person reminder, Alex showed up, but failed to accomplish any repair, and said he’d return the next day. Never saw him again! If Brady’s repairmen ever came to our door and we didn’t answer it’s because those guys wear no identifiable uniforms and, frankly, look like street thugs.I am a former prosecuting attorney and now practice in the area of consumer fraud law. I guess Mr. Brady is going to have be under oath before he tells the truth.
Sincerely,
**** ******
