Idaho Indoor Air exceeded our expectations. We bought a fixer-upper and have been doing renovations for months. I don't think the air vents have ever been cleaned since the home was built over ************************* the home is apparent especially outside the air vents. We have been trying to find somebody to clean them for months, but have to leave messages and don't receive calls back. *** from Idaho Indoor Air got right back to me. When he arrived at the house, he told me our return vents did not need cleaning as he thought they did from our phone call. I really appreciate that honesty. He cleaned our air vents, furnace, dryer vent, and sanitized our air vents. Our home smells so clear and fresh after. There is a noticeable difference. He showed us what he got out of the vents. It was shocking...dust, garbage, etc. The bag was filled. It made me so happy. I feel like we will be breathing better and healthier from now on. Highly recommend!

Idaho Indoor Air LLC service was highly professional, competent and caring. The agent went beyond the terms of agreement and cleaned every air duct we had - including our laundry and gas fireplace. He also treated our air ducts with the same chemicals they use in hospitals and healthcare facilities to minimize accumulation of pollutant particles. And all for the lowest price I could find amongst their competitors. He was also quite personable and funny, easy to talk to, and willing to educate and share what he knows with the customer openly! A true joy to work with. Thank you for an outstanding service and experience.

Highly recommend. *** came over and after going down in the crawl space he educated us on our dryer vent situation. He then looked at the dryer and the vent and determined that it did not need to be cleaned out.I greatly appreciated his honesty. There was no way for me to know what needed to be done so he could easily have done an unnecessary cleaning and charged me accordingly. He also told us that we probably didnt need to call him for two years and showed us how to determine for ourselves if we had a problem.He is professional, ethical and we are happy to recommend him.

I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS BUSINESS GETS AN "A+" RATING. I called this business because of this rating, which should call the BBB's integrity into question.Red Flag 1: Uses a "$99 Special" to get in the door, but that does not include your "main air return", or more than one "regular" air return; those add $110 EACH (or $100 or $120, depending on where you are in the conversation.Red Flag 2: When booking the appointment, *** went on about giving at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation, so as to "keep food on his table and feed his kids". What an insult.Red Flag 3: A search of Idaho Indoor Air or ************************* returns no results on Idaho's Professional Business Licensing Website.Red Flag 4: Despite being told at least 3 times I had 3 returns in my system, and being told where to find them, He failed to include in his quote or clean the hallway return. Of note, I removed the grates from both the "cleaned" master bedroom return, and the "uncleaned" hallway return, and could really tell no difference. Both are air boxes connecting to an 8" insulated flex duct, and both still a significant amounts of dust in the folds of the of the ducting.Red Flag 5: *** informed me after arriving he does not accept debit or credit cards; cash or check only. His quote was for $384 and change, so I actually ran to the bank and got him 4-$100 bills as a good faith gesture. At the end of the job, he informs me he HAS NO CHANGE, so I just told him to keep it. Only accepts cash or check, but can't make change?Red Flag 6: After discovering the missed return and calling *** back Monday (job was done the Friday before), he could not remember who I was, denied ever being told about the hallway return, but offered to come back and clean it, FOR AN ADDITIONAL $120. Judging by the condition of the cleaned returns, and the fact he already had $400 of the money from MY kitchen table, I told him "no thanks".

********************. You called me and asked about my service. I said I am offering a ***** special. which includes up to 12 vents 1 return vent and one main line. I explained what was not covered like the furnace extra mains those would be fairly priced if necessary. some homes do not need a full cleaning as a new home or one that was cleaned 3yrs ago. My friend works for one of the big outfits they charge 30 per opening. Im sorry you were offended when i asked for a 24hr cancellation notice. Nothing personal just business. I cant calculate how much i have lost over the years getting NO SHOWED. Time is money and the way gas prices are now i cant afford to eat that. Besides that one is not required to register there unless there bid is over ******************************************* 54-5203, Idaho Code as: "Any person who in any capacity undertakes, offers to undertake, purports to have the capacity to undertake, or submits a bid to, or does himself or by or through others, perform construction." or "A construction manager who performs construction management services.""Construction" is defined in 54-5203(3), Idaho Code as the performance of building, altering, repairing, adding to, subtracting from, improving, reconstructing, moving, excavating, wrecking or demolishing any building, highway, road, bridge, or other structure, project, development or improvement to real property, or to do any part thereof, including the erection of scaffolding or other structures or works in connection therewith.; Besides that I am registered with the **** i have a federal tax ID number and i carry the appropriate liability INS. yes we talked over the phone about your system yes your probably told me you had 3 returns I would of said the master would of been a return vent and the other return mains. Once given the quote which did not include the return in the hall way and after i pointed out what was being cleaned, never did i hear hey *** what about the one in the hallway? besides that i was given 2 new grills to put up. You said there was dust in the folds?...what you are seeing is the wire that the flex duct is wrapped around. i cant remove paint either as you had massive over spray inside the vents. your bid to clean the system was 1*****. i told you i accept cash (no one ever pays in cash) or checks as i do not accept Credit cards or bank cards. No sir i don't believe in those systems. i do not believe in USURY and i do not want my clients paying for something maybe would cost them more in interest. After missing return in hallway i called ***...Hey *** this is **** you forgot to clean the return in the hallway. **** i was at 5 houses after your home im so sorry it took a min to figure out who you were. you said it was in the hallway....return vents are not in hallways but bedrooms and sometimes hallways if ya have a split level ranch. I said its most likely a main line and said i would come back to do it for a discounted price. after your displeasure i offered to do it for free to make amends...you DECLINED. again i always try to do the best for every individual. like i said i am sorry i upset you. you should have received a chk for the 1***** on what you paid for me to clean as it was mailed march 2nd and today is the 7th...Best wishes Idaho indoor air

Nice guy with a lot of info. Was not able to do the job due to the configuration of our furnace but was upfront about it. He also made a number of suggestions regarding our filters, etc. We were happy with the experience.

*** is very knowledgeable and took the time to help us figure out a few issues we'd been experiencing in our new home. He explained what we needed and what we didn't need, and even though he quoted us one price, he ended up charging less because he was upfront and honest that we didn't need everything he'd quoted after look at the system. He even took the extra time to show my husband some basic maintance we can do on our own to maintain the system! We will be calling him for routine work from now on.
