    Last year my wife and I purchased a brand new 2021 Forest River Shockwave 26QSGDX ** trailer from Uncharted Recreation in ********, ***** on 4/8/2022 for $54,995. Unfortunately, our ** has been nothing but a lemon. Uncharted service has worked with us very well to attempt to fix all the issues but have been unable to remedy some of the most important issues and I believe this is mostly because of the build quality of this particular **. I will include the whole list, but the main issues are the refrigerator/freezer intermittently stops working and the water leaks. I have dropped the ** off on 6 occasions to have the refrigerator repaired. The last time was 12/15/22 and I was told the entire unit would be replaced. Uncharted kept my ** until just a few weeks ago before letting me know it was ready for pickup and the refrigerator was never replaced. I am told because they tested it several times and couldn't duplicate the problem. This had already been at the shop 4 other times for the same issue and could not be repaired so we were past testing/duplicating the problem. The refrigerator should have been replaced! On top of that, Uncharted kept the ** for over 3 months and now my factory warranty is nearing expiration (4/7/23). Whether intentional or not, this is not a good business practice. When I picked up the ** two weeks ago, after being at Uncharted since December, I was very disappointed to find not only was the fridge not changed, but one of the slide out motors had failed and my personal belongings were wet from water leaks. I dropped the ** back off at Uncharted to address leaks. They now claim the leaks have been fixed but did not address the internal damages. I am seeking a full refund or replacement or full trade in of original price paid towards another make/mode. This ** is a lemon and has major water intrusion and a fridge that only works intermittently, along with many other issues that have already been addressed.

    I purchased a trailer from this business- on the first trip I realized that the canopy had been installed too close to the kitchen window- this caused you to try to break the window if you put the canopy either in or out while the window was open. I asked for this to be repositioned- Uncharted declined and said it was a factory issue. I asked the factory and they also declined. Uncharted said they could correct without moving canopy- that was a failed attempt and consequently I forgot to close the window and opened the canopy which broke the window mechanism- although they fixed the window- the original flaw was still there.I purchased an extended warranty when I purchased this trailer. 1.8 years after purchase the solid counter top cracked from the window across to the stove. I asked for it to be fixed thru the extended warranty- this too was denied. I finally traded the trailer in just to get rid of it. The extended warranty purchase price minus some fees was supposed to be refunded within 4-6 weeks. It has now been 6 weeks and 6 days. I called to ask about it and was told that it was the fault of the warranty company.It has been my experience that this business does not take care of the customer after the sale- once they get the money they seem to wash their hands of you if anything comes up. They definitely do not support their product after the sale- all they really do is blame all of their vendors instead of taking care of their customers.I personally would never do business with these guys again.

    We apologize for your experience with our dealership. We worked diligently with the manufacturer to fix as many issues as possible and performed repair work for free that the manufacturer didn't approve in an effort to correct the issue. 

    As far as your extended warranty refund, ***** has submitted all documentation to our warranty provider and we will issue you a check the moment they process the refund and release the funds.

    Again, we apologize about the delay but are in constant contact with the warranty provider and will resolve the issue asap.
