The job was to: Replace roof (did not pass inspection from their completed job but no date set to fix) Level the manufactured home (they said they did the back), they did not and my home started splitting in half, had to hire someone else to level it Put up 8x10 metal shed, took 3 days Fix hole in bedroom ceiling where tree came through (they did) Repair sheet rock in 2nd room, (someone was staying here they did not want to wake him so left, did not return) Put up new gutters - they did not complete I had to pay someone else to do it Replace a window - did not do Replace fence - they did not do - I had to pay someone to remove and then replace the wooden fence along with the metal for the shed The roof did didnt pass inspection and they are supposed to be back to do it, we were supposed to be working on a time for them to be here but typically they dont show up when they say.I did fire them in August, but they are supposed to fix the roof per the inspector, now the rains and snow are about ready to come. I dont consider myself a feeble old lady and dislike being taken advantage of. Can you help. Thank you for listening ***************************

First and foremost, I want to express our sincere apologies for the delays and shortcomings in completing the agreed-upon tasks. We understand the gravity of the situation and the urgency, especially considering the impending weather conditions.

To address the specific issues raised:

      1. Roof Replacement and Inspection:
We acknowledge that the roof replacement did not initially pass inspection, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We worked to complete the repairs necessary to pass inspection.  The final inspection on 10/10/2023 shows reroofing repairs have been completed and approved.

      2. Manufactured Home Leveling:
Initial inspection of the level of the manufactured home showed the home to be level and no action was taken.  There were no charges for leveling.

      3. Incomplete Tasks stated by homeowner:
Installation of ************** - Metal shed was installed and completed along with repairs to the platform.  A supplement was created to charge for the shed as it was not included in the original estimate.
Sheetrock repair - The sheetrock has been repaired.
Gutter replacement - We purchased all materials for the gutter replacement but was told by the homeowner that someone else would be handling the installation of the gutters.
Window replacement - We did not include any window replacement in our estimate.  Homeowner requested that we replace the windows.  Special order windows of that type have a 13 week turnaround and that did not work within the timeframe requested by the homeowner.
Fence repair - All materials were purchased to repair the fence, but again the homeowner requested that we not do the repair and stated she would hire someone else.

      4. Communication and Timeliness:
We acknowledge the concerns regarding communication and timeliness. We understand the importance of punctuality and clear communication, and we apologize for any frustration caused. We will take immediate steps to improve our scheduling and communication processes to ensure a more efficient and reliable service moving forward.

      5. *************************, COO, Disaster Response, will contact ************************** next week November 20th to discuss the details of the estimate and the billing.

3/18/22- my house flooded. *********** from disaster response came and started the mitigating process to clean up the water. Beginning of April I contracted disaster response to complete the restoration process. I agreed to move out giving them full access to my home. My home is a handi cap accessible home as Im disabled. **** was the project manager assigned to the job. After several delays I was told *** was complete and it was good to return on 8/24/22 I walked in to a disaster. Nails popping through new laminate floor, whole house being spot painted, base boards and door trim removed and missing, huge stain in center of new carpet, carpet was clearly pieced together as there were visible seems, windows covered with cellophane, painters tape cut into walls, a kitchen sink with paint dumped in it, a demoed laundry room (which wasnt to be touched), uncounted toilet, garage full of trash, dishwasher un installed.. I callled the project manager whom was clueless the job he was supervising wasnt completed. He blamed another employee for not watching when he was on vacation weeks prior yet he still hadnt checked on the project. When no progress was being made the job was handed off to his boss ******. ****** had no clue my job was in this state. While at first he seemed as though he would get it fixed again supervision lacked and more problems happened. They had a plumber come in whom caused two more floods one in kitchen and one in laundry, a flooring company come whom cut inside my home and improperly laid the second set of flooring. They had demo guys come in to do work they werent qualified to do whom cause additional damage by removing what they werent supposed to and damaging my cabinets. December l- still no considerable progress just more problems. The job was then handed to regional director names *****. ***** met with my father and I made promises he never kept. ***** avoids me, hes revised original bid (fraud)They owe me $9,000

We have been working with ***************************** to resolve any issues that she has with the work that was performed.  She has not allowed us back in the home to resolve the issues she is having.  She was paid in full by her insurance company and has not paid ** in full for the repairs.   At this time, there is no warranty to offer as we have not been allowed in her home to correct issues nor has it been paid for in the amount as agreed by her insurance company.  We have tried multiple times to work with her but her unwillingness to work with us has made that very difficult.  We have removed many items from her estimate as they were not to her satisfaction, yet she continues to want additional funds returned. She was paid over $22,563.99 (estimate was ********* but she has a ***** deductible) from her insurance company. She should also receive a check for her recoverable depreciation if she called and requested it.  She paid us $12,795.90.  She is not owed any additional funds from Disaster Response.  We are currently working with our attorney as is she to resolve this matter.  She has also dropped off an additional check in the amount of $1709.02 to our attorneys office.  At this time we are hoping that through our attorney, this matter will be resolved quickly and in a manner of mutual respect.

I am rejecting this response because: I have proof ranging from texts, e mails, photos, witness accounts, and videos verifying the information provided by ***** is inaccurate and not all truthful. The information has been provided to their attorney. The pressure being applied to drop complaint will not prevail until the right is done on disaster responses behalf. Ive recently found Other complaints of similar fashion online. Only difference I have all documents needed to prove my case.

      Sincerely,
