              I went to CarX of ********* to change brake pads on a Camry on Oct 21. The manager on site, whose first name is ******, suggested that I should also resurface the rotors. I agreed. However, after the service, my car started to vibrate when I applied brakes. I took the car back to CarX for a check today (Nov 7). The manager on site, whose name is ******, acknowledged that the rotors were resurfaced too thinly, to the extent that they became inoperable and needed to be replaced. However CarX was not willing to take responsibility. ****** the manager claimed that there was always a risk of damage when refurfacing rotors, and customers should bear the risk. I was not informed this way when he suggested rotor resurfacing to me on Oct 21. CarX only offered to replace the rotors at my cost, which would be an additional $300+ to me. I believe CarX should cover the cost of replacing the rotors they damaged.

              I had my vehicle taken to this shop after an accident. After the insurance claim, estimate, repairs, and the ****, ended up paying a large sum of money outside of my deductible to cover the shops ****-up prices and shipping fees on every part ordered, which were much higher than originally discussed in order for the shop to turn a profit on the vehicle. The shop owner is polite and respectful, but refused to communicate with insurance company or disclose information on specifics/billing to help lower my out of pocket charges, which is concerning. Would not recommend doing business with this company, and do not appreciate the shadiness I experienced.
