I signed up with Super Affiliate Network on March 10, 2023, for $4.97, hoping to build my retirement. I work full-time, I'm a single mom, and ** also the ***** of ******** for my oldest sister, who has Alzheimer's.The first upsell came on March 13 for $1,900 and $597, and I was assigned a salesperson/coach to guide me through this part of the funnel. Despite following all the training and assignments, I hadn't made any sales by April 17 when I paid another $697, followed by $697 on May 13.Then they presented the All In program at $39,997, which I didn't have. They offered financing and set me up with ****, who got me three loans totaling $64,000 in one night, with interest rates between 9.2% and *****%. **** told me he had no problem helping *****'s people the loans because Id make enough in six months to pay off the loans. Almost a year later, I'm still paying them off. Additionally, I had to pay $6,117.45 to the people who got me the loans.Part of one package included a business setup and tax package, expecting it to cover everything. However, I ended up paying $2,800 for two consultations and $3,390 for a tax consultation.I was supposed to have monthly training Zoom calls with Misha for 12 months, I only had one. I feel I've been lied to on many circumstances. I've contacted support for a full refund, but they only offered to have ***** speak to me. I want nothing to do with this predatory program and dont want anyone else to end up in my situation. Also, the only reason Super Affiliate Network has the number of stars in the BBB is because when they start getting complaints, they have current students of his programs submit positive reviews. He had me do one, and I did because he hadn't paid the money on the 3 sales I finally got in the fall and was paid out to me in Sept and Oct. I didn't trust him to pay me if I didnt.Grand total: Over $73,000 including the interest on the loans. I'm now close to bankruptcy because of this program.

      Business response

We are sorry to hear about ****** current situation, as we never wish any of customers, or anyone in general to find themselves in a hard place And most definitely dont want our customers to feel that we have attributed to that.

We are also sorry to hear about her sister - and I can emphasize with that greatly, as my mother had the same disease.

With that said, there is a lot to unpack here, and to be honest, this complaint is one that kind of confuses us as coaches in the industry.

***** got started with us in our mentorship program in May of 2023 as she mentions.

To address her her issues that she seems to have with getting started in general, all of our programs are 100% optional, and we do not force anyone to do anything.

We dont use hard sales techniques, and were known in the industry for NOT using these strategies, as our reputation is important to us.

When ***** saw our mentorship program options, she didnt have funds, and so we presented her the OPTION of seeing if she could get start up capital. We dont force our students to do this, and it is optional.

It is an outside company, and not in house. Furthermore, all of the financing companies fees are expressly shown before the process is started, to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Also we as a company are always aware of not promising income results (as she mentions we did) - and we have the following disclaimer (attached as Exhibit A) on every training video our customers go through - as we want to set the right expectations. Also - that expectation is expressly set on the agreement that the customer signs as well.

***** would have seen these, seen the cost of the financing company, and decided to move forward on her own accord.

What is strange about this situation for us, is that after ***** got started, she implemented what we taught and what we helped her with, and she actually did very well.

She began to make sales immediately (as she referenced) - and even earned a $10,000 commission. Overall she earned over $10,000 very quickly after getting started.

When she started to see results, she left us a positive BBB review (exhit B attached), and cut a video for us as a testimonial

      ****************************
From there (from what we can see) - ***** started looking at other programs to diversify (vs. focusining on our pogram which was working as evidenced by the review, testimonial, and result), and started asking us about A.I. chat bots (which is NOT part of our program). Screenshot attached as Exhibit C.
While we will never tell people that they cant do other stuff, it is much harder for us to coach and help people when they are trying to do multiple things at once. People going in too many directions at once when getting started is a huge problem online, and why we always expressly recommend focusing on one thing.
Also I am not sure why she would feel like we wouldnt pay her a commission, when we have paid out all commissions for all affiliates on time for years now - and paid her the full sum of all of her commissions earned while she was following the program.

When she asked for a refund (of a program with a no refunds clause) - I reached out multiple times but never heard back from her (screenshot attached as Exhibit D).

This is genuinely a very frustrating sitution for us as a company as well. Weather ***** believes us or not, it really is our goal to help every customer we have.

With *****, we got her started, the program was literally working (as evidenced by her BBB review and ******* video), and then despite the program working, ***** seems to have drifted off in another direction outside the scope of our program.

We are now a year down the line, and she is asking for a refund and dissatisfied.

From our perspective, we can control the value of our programs, and make sure that what we teach works - but we cannot force people to start or continue following them. That is out of our control.

Also we cant help students through rough times or miscommunications, if we cannot get a reply from them.

While we cannot offer a refund on a payment made over a year ago, where commissions to affiliates and the sales team have already been paid out

Also - where we have an agreement signed stating no refunds. (Agreement attached as well).

We would be more than happy to help ***** to continue her journey and pickup where she left off where the program was working and she was getting results.

The additional coaching would be offered at no additional cost, as we would genuinely want ***** to get to a good place with her business working.

Also to address the last comment, we do ask happy customers to leave us feedback and reviews. From my general understanding, asking happy customers to give feedback on a business experience is in no way non compliant or illegal - and is a very common practice among all industries.

      Thank you,

Super Affiliate Network/The ***************** had me fill out a financial form. I was never asked to look for start up capital on my own and they recommended the company who got me 3 loans in 1 night. I wasnt able to get the 4th 20K loan that he tried to get for me which you would need to have to continue to pay for advertising. But **** from the loan company, that was recommended to me from the Sales / mentor, told me I would make the money back and pay the loans off in 6 months. It took over 3 months to make the 3 sales. I had extreme doubt over everything when the sales took that long to come in and it sure wasnt going to be 60K in 6 months that I would be able to pay my loans off.

I was talked into a program that I had the understanding of all done for you program, plus have a 30-day refund policy. When I found that I didn't have the tool that was promised and could not afford a $40,000.00 mentorship to get this business going. I tried to cancel 3 weeks after purchase, believing I had 30 days. Then told me I only had 3 days. This is a scam!

      To whom it may concern,
The member got started with our Pro mentorship program on 12/12/23. With our mentorship programs we do a lot of work for people but there is work they have to do on their end as well. We have it stated in our agreements what specifically is done for them. Everything we have stated in our agreement which the member signed she got access to right away upon getting started with the mentorship program.

She got started with our Pro + Breakthrough Accelerator mentorship program. We do have further mentorships available to purchase but they are completely optional and only there for people that would like even more extra hands on help. People do not need to purchase them if they do not want to.

With our mentorship programs, members have 3 days to cancel the transaction should they change their mind. We have it clearly stated on the contract the member filled out and signed at the time of her purchase.

Today we have attached the members signed agreement she filled out at the time of purchase.
The member paid a $500 deposit to us on 12/12/23 and is working with a finance company to fund the rest. That is a contract she set up directly with them and that is who her remaining payments are set up with. That was between herself and the finance company.
As of today, we processed her $500 deposit she put down with us. We also contacted the finance company she is going through and asked them if they would cancel her contract so she doesnt go into default.

Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

      Customer response

In response to their response. I do accept my part in it by not fully reading the contract because I was going off what the first mentor had told me about having 30 days to cancel. So yes i assume that responsibility, although when I went to cancel 2 weeks later because they wanted me to get on a call everyday during my work hours as I was finding it hard to do. This was not told to me during my initial set-up. I accept their response by refunding my money and cancel the contract but they need to be looked into further for their policies and sinking people in with 3 days! All the while leading you up to $40,000.00 mentorship program to make your business work. Nobody has that kind of money and by then you are way past the 3 day and past a 30 day to cancel. So they string you along until you are past that, with no way to cancel at that point. Getting people to finance that kind of money is something crazy and robbery! Sad that people fall for that.

I joined SAN in October of 2022. I was very excited because I have been wanting to do affiliate marketing for quite a few years and this looked like the perfect opportunity for me. I upgraded to pro in November with an initial investment of $500. I was assigned a business manager and a mentor. There were a couple of zoom calls with my business manager to set me up with training and to make sure I wasn't having any issues. I also had 4 weekly meetings with my mentor, consisting mainly of him unlocking modules and assigning books for me to listen to. I finished the Bootcamp training and had started on the ***************** training, when my health took a drastic nose dive. There were some months when I couldn't do anything, but since I was paying for my membership, I figured I could jump back in any time. I had asked twice about the outstanding balance of my pro upgrade. The first time I received no reply and the second time I was told by the "zen desk" that they were showing no payment beyond my intitial $500 payment. I emailed my business manager and got the email back, saying the email was not monitored. I messaged my sponsor and never received a reply. I can no longer log in to my back office. I've clicked the forgot password link at least 5 times and have never received a reply. I have all the receipts for payment from my sponsor and at this point, I just want my money back. There's no one left for me to attempt to contact. That's why I'm making this complaint.

To whom it may concern, ******** put down a $500 deposit for our Pro Mentorship on 11/28/2022 and we  immediately got her done-for-you sales funnels and emails into her back office as well as giving her access to the coaching outlined in our agreement. We gave her access to everything even though she had not yet paid in full.
It seems like there may be a misunderstanding here as she signed up for the Pro Mentorship and also signed up for one of our monthly subscriptions for a different tool to utilize in her business. That monthly subscription has a monthly charge of $197 and it is separate from the mentorship.
She emailed our customer support desk on 9/2/2023 asking about her balance to which we let her know she has paid $500 towards the Pro Mentorship and no further payments for the mentorship since. We made sure she knew how to reach out to her advisor so she could discuss her payment arrangements for the mentorship along with also giving her login details to her back office and we got no response from her.
She sent in another support request on 9/21/2023 asking if the monthly subscription was forever to which we replied letting her know it was a monthly subscription that could be canceled at any time if she would like. We got no response to that request from her either.
We are giving her a full refund and our apologies for any confusion there may have been. That is never our intention.
      Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate your refund of my down payment.  According to the agreement with my business manager, the $197 a month was supposed to pay for my pro upgrade.  That was the only payment I authorized.  So to find out that the $1970 I understood was supposed to be paying for the balance of my pro upgrade, was in fact, for something entirely different, is news to me.  When you said you would be giving me a full refund, I expected a full refund of the $2470.00.

      Sincerely,

      Business response

      11/14/2023

To whom it may concern, ********************************* has already been fully refunded $2,470. We contacted her through our support desk after her original complaint to inform her she had been refunded for everything but that we had to manually refund two of the older payments through PayPal which we directly did with her by her giving us her PayPal info so we could process them for her. We had already previously released all other funds back to her bank. The 2 remaining payments totaling $394 were refunded to her via PayPal on 11/8/2023. Today we have attached screenshots of all of her refunds along with this response as well as her mentorship agreement. The $197 per month payments being referred to is for her Uplevel subscription and when those payments are run she gets a receipt each month that states it is for Uplevel. We have also attached one of those receipts today showing the receipts say Uplevel on them. The Pro Breakthrough Accelerator and Uplevel are two separate products and they are titled on their receipts.

Thank you for your time regarding this matter.

      To whom it may concern,
We have no record on file of the customer sending in any type of refund request to our Support Desk which we would have happily refunded if she messaged directly to our Support Desk so our team could receive the request and process her refund. We have processed a full refund for her as of today. We see in the attachments provided she had responded to our daily emails that go out but not our Support Desk which is readily available directly from her back office to email us any day at any time to request a refund. Our Support Desk email is also listed on all of our invoices so customers have access to support help immediately after they purchase and receive the receipts from purchases made.
When the customer purchased she purchased some of the extra training. We have those other offers and training available to purchase as with all companies but they are completely optional and only there for people that would like the extra training. People do not need to purchase them in order to get there business going. We never make any such guarantees of earning money at all, as it all comes down to how much time and effort each individual takes in order to start there business and begin marketing. We do also have mentorship programs where people have the opportunity to get more hands on help and more in depth training. Again, these are all completely optional and people do not have to purchase them. We make sure to deliver as much value as possible in order to help our customers to learn the process and begin marketing online.

      Thank you.

I came with a very small fee of $47 to get started. I instantly got put into a chat with a man named ***** and after hours of videos I chose to upgrade to the PRO for $2497. By this time I felt invested, so I did it. After this, I was put together with a "success advisor" named **** that had me on zoom calls every morning for a whole month going over modules and taking quizzes on the info I learned. There were other people in these zooms too. I thought, "Awesome, this is amazing mentorship, this will get me set up for success." A month later (now I'm really invested in this) the zooms end and we are all presented with a huge upsell. Get one on one guidance and a whole "done for you" business for either $29,997 or $39,997. The $39,997 would get you one on one sessions with ***** himself and the other one would get you sessions with coaches he trained. I felt major pressure to do this. I was **** and just wanted to succeed and I felt like they preyed on it. So I decided to do it. I then got hooked up with a financial consultant named ***** who helped me get 2 personal loans. One for $20,000 and one for $27,500. That way I could pay him $4726, pay ********** Svcs to help me set up my business (this was over $2000) and have extra money for marketing. I wired the money to SAN on 6/14/22. I instantly knew it was the wrong decision. I was promised 1 on 1 coaching which I got right away, then told it was going to end and I'd have to do group coaching. The website was not done for me. I had monthly fees for email, funnel and things I didn't know in the beginning. Since then I've gotten a partial refund of 15k but I would like my other 15k back. If I don't get it, I'm afraid I'll have to file bankruptcy. This has been haunting me for over a year. I have 2 personal loans to pay back and now I have no more refund payments to make the loan payments. Nothing was done for me and I don't wish this on anyone! ***** has since blocked me from chat.

      Hey guys, Misha here.

I wanted to reply here personally, as Ive communicated with ****** in the past, and she mentioned that I blocked her in this complaint.

****** got started with us and made the voluntary decision to join our mentorship program after knowing all of the details. There is zero hard selling done with us internally as a company, and there was no pressure applied for her to buy. We made the offer for the mentorship program and services, and she wanted it.

The costs are clearly outlined, along with the no refunds policy (per the contract she uploaded and signed).

Also we as a company did not force her to take out any loan, and we only point our clients in directions of solutions when they say they are interested and want to learn how and where to find startup capital.

During the mentorship program, ****** got on very few coaching calls, and did not use the recourses that we gave her in the program.

The one one one technical coaching calls are still part of the program, and our clients are still happily getting them to this day, along with the Immersion coaching calls (our group coaching sessions).

The done for you funnel templates and website were both delivered with our software, Uplevel System on July 5th, 2022.

I also offered to let her use Uplevel for free after speaking with her the first time to keep her costs down.

Furthermore, we already agreed on a settlement for this on November 30th 2022 (in us giving her 50% back), as she asked for a refund well after the 3 day cooling off period, and after she had used some of her one on one coaching calls and after the done for you funnels had been built and delivered.

There are hard costs for the team to create and deliver these, and there are commissions already paid out.

She agreed to the 50% compromise by both parties and that was the new agreement (per the screenshot attached).

Now that the 50% has been paid back, that agreement isnt worth anything, and shes looking for a full refund.

It is impossible to run a company like this, and its the reason we have agreements in place to begin with. We have already met her half way and paid back 50% despite our no refund policy on the agreement that she signed.

Furthermore I didnt block her - we moved from Slack to Might Networks for communication with our mentorship students.

We wish ****** the best, but after having her sign an agreement with a no refunds policy (due to hard costs to the company), then having her want a refund, then having her make another agreement on the 50% refund, and now having that all of a sudden not be good enough, we feel we have done our best to make the situation right by both parties, and are keeping our agreements as stated.

****** even mentions here that we have already paid back the 50% - and honored the previous agreement.

I am rejecting this response because:

I want to make it clear Misha that I am very grateful for the partial refund. It's been a huge help in paying these loans back.  But now I still have thousands in loans to pay back and no way to do it!

As far as the mentoring calls, I could never get on them because they are in the middle of the day and I had a full time job! I did my absolute best to watch replays but when those took days to get posted amongst all the other overload of training, it was hard to catch up!

The agreement clearly said 36 one on one coaching calls and my coach got taken away from me before that. With the overload of training it was imperative to have that help and guidance. I felt that paying over 30k should include more guidance than I got. And I have talked to several people that felt the same way.

I still feel taken advantage of. You may say there's no hard selling, but there's strong selling. It's way beyond casual. That's a lot of money.  And for a millionaire that constantly has people coming in and paying this amount, I'm sure you still have a huge ROI.

You have been nice about all this, but I just still feel duped. If anything I'd just like an apology. My credit will be f***ed when I can't pay these loans back after this month.  And that doesn't matter to you.

      Sincerely,

      ***********************

I paid over $4000 for this program, then after completing the steps I thought I was going to get started but then found out that I needed to pay another $50,000 or so to get a coach. Since then I have been working on trying to get a loan it's been over a year and now I am told that I can't get funding and was told that I could move to the next step. I tried to get back into my account to begin next steps and I can't get into my account at all. Whe I try lost my password option it directs meto a websites with instructions to create a blog. Look I was told that all I need was to but the $4000+ dollars to get started and now I can't even get in. I would really just like to get my money back since I never got to use any thing that was promised. I feel lied too and taken advantage of and they waited a whole year before letting me know that it couldn't be done and missed their deadline to request for a refund. If there is anything you could do I would very much appreciate it.

I signed up for SAN due to how convincing ******************* was. He had his assistant call me multiple times over the past few weeks. For them I think its a game. They pursue you until you sign up. Then they start by indoctrinating you with mindset aka selling you all the possibilities. They left me messages telling that I had x amount of time to sign documents. When I had signed for a monthly payment plan I was told that I would get access to the other modules. But ***** only opened 2 modules. There are 15 modules in total. Then he mentioned that I would need to contact the L2 business advisor (where they upsell you on more products) that was assigned to me before the rest of the modules could be opened. I felt at that time that I had been misled. Furthermore, I had asked him about the companys ****************** and he did not release that information to me until I made my initial payment. When I finally got into the group I saw numerous people complaining about tech problems, problems with ***********************, saying that they hadnt made any money, etc. This was alarming to me and it was then that I told ***** that Id like a refund and to be released from any of the contracts that I signed when I signed up with them. ***** proceeded to call me names and then stopped responding. He had always been responsive to me. I was hoping for more professional than that. I also emailed Misha and he did not respond either. All I want is to get a refund of $1,000 and for them to cancel all contracts that they made me sign. I dont feel like ***** was up front with me about all the steps. Please help me in getting this matter resolved. Thank you

To whom it may concern, We want to start by saying we apologize for any inconvenience or negative experience she had while getting started. That is never our intention and we dont take it lightly. We want our members to have the best experience possible. We never received any emails to our support desk expressing her concerns or requesting a refund. We have refunded her account in full and canceled her subscription. *************************** purchased our training on 5/15/23 and begun working through the training modules. She went through the first 5 modules before upgrading to our Mentorship Program on 6/8/23. The member did not have to sign anything until she decided to join the mentorship program which she then had to sign an agreement for. If she did not choose to sign up for the mentorship she would still have been able to complete the rest of the modules being the remaining 10 modules. Our ************** links are given within the back office and members can join them at any time by clicking on the link directly from their back office. Our ************** is meant for people to be able to post things they are having trouble with so they can get the help they need from our team and we encourage members to let us know when they are having problems figuring things out within their business so we can assist them.
Again, we apologize for any negative experience she may have had during the process. Please let us know if you need anything further from us and we will be happy to assist.

      Complaint: 20185938

I am rejecting this response because: Your companys business practices are not right. Your coach used high pressure sales tactics on me. I was rushed through the process. ******************* misrepresented the cost of the program to me. He told me that if I didnt sign up on 6/8/23 that I would be required to pay an additional $1,000.00 when I did decide to join the program. This I later found out was not true. The price of the program is $2997. Additionally, with regard to the financing, ***** told me that the application did not require a credit check and would be automatically approved. But according to the third party finance company that I have contacted, my credit was checked in order to obtain the loan, which in my opinion this was deceptive on Scotts part. My other issue is the fact that there is no way to communicate with this company. I have been calling a (808) number given to me by the finance company, I reached out to ******************* via Skype and got told that I was acting like a child when I asked for a refund which is very unprofessional, then to *********************** via email and got no response. I also called what is supposed to be the companys main customer service number ***** and no one answers the phone ever. For each of these numbers the phone rings and then goes to the voicemail. *** left several voicemails and no one has called me back. If this company is reputable then I should be able to communicate with them but I havent been able to speak to a single human being. I also conducted further research and discovered similar complaints about this company. I do not wish to do business with a company that I cannot trust. My trust has been completely broken. Again, I request a full refund of my $1,000, cancellation of all contracts or agreements and all future payments. I admonish you to do the right thing in this situation. This is simply not right. I was simply looking for an opportunity and I believe that I have been taken advantage of by this company.

      Sincerely,

To whom it may concern, While we understand the customer had gotten sick and we acknowledged it to the member wishing her the very best. There are no refunds on our Mentorship Programs as disclosed on our refund policy which we have attached here. **************************************************** Please see the portion that talks specifically about the Pro Breakthrough Accelerator Offer. It is also stated on our agreement that the customer signed which we have also attached. The customer requested a refund 6 days from the date of purchase. That was past the 3 days cooling-off period from the date of purchase - and in that period the company had already delivered their done for you sales funnel, and emails (both of which they got with the program), which is why we have the agreement set up the way we do. As soon as the customer signed up we immediately got their done-for-you sales funnels and emails into their back office as well as giving them access to the coaching outlined in our agreement. The customers 100% done for you sales funnels and emails were added to her back office on 3-6-23. The same date of purchase. Even though the customer hadnt paid in full we still gave her all of the done for you deliverables the date of her first payment.

We can't have people buy, receive their products and get their deliverables that we build out for them, and then refund, or the company wouldn't be able to survive. All of our policies are designed to be healthy for the customer and the company, and whenever there isn't a done for deliverable that takes time and effort on our part to fulfill on, we have a generous 30-day money-back guarantee which we refunded the 2 specific products that were within the 30 day refund policy for the member right away.

We have now gone in and refunded the customer today 3-16-23 even though the agreement she signed clearly stated there were no refunds.

Thank you for your time regarding this matter

Online I signed up for something they offered for four dollars and some change! This company TOOK one hundred and ninety seven dollars, "another" ninety seven dollars and twenty one dollars ALL the same day. I filed this as fraud with my credit card and I wrote them six emails on Feb 11th through 13th. It took them until the 13th to answer me and they said they would refund my money ************ to seven business days. So far I have only received the one hundred and ninety seven dollars back! I keep writing them and they keep stating it will be refunded in five to seven business days, its been fourteen days and still nothing! I am over waiting. I was not going to file an official complaint on the company but this seriously looks like people need to be warned they are not what they say and you will have a great chance at losing a lot more money than you agreed too... so beware!

This customer bought our front end program, and then a series of our one time offers. As of 2/11 - we have refunded the customer in full, with no questions asked. Can the customer please double check their bank on or around the 14th-17th to look for deposits?

And if the customer still cannot find them we will come to another solution. We are not in the game to take peoples money with no value exchange, and the refund on our end shows a full successful refund, so please let us know, and we'll go from there on solutions.

      Thank you!

Strange, we have double and triple checked and our system shows a full refund. But, we're committed to making our customers happen. Does this user have a paypal that we can send the additional refunds too, and and we will have it fully verified on our end then.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
They did FINALLY refund my money, but not after MANY emails to them saying they did, when they haven't yet. So their smart remarks saying they double and tripled checked, was certainly done AFTER they finally did pay me!  Their SMART remarks say it ALL!  Very bad company!

This business is deceptive. They lure you in with a $7 promotion to access the training materials. Then after you purchase, they say wait watch this video to see how you can upgrade to a better package with more information. No cost is listed on the page, just a link that does NOT say you are purchasing anything. And when you click the link for more information, you are immediately charged $197! I had no intentions of upgrading and need to have my money that was stolen from me refunded. I emailed them with the message that was sent to me asking for a refund with no response, and based on the complaints here that's the norm. I would like a complete refund of $7.00 and $197.00.

This is the page ******** purchased from (on the screenshot) - and you can see we do have the price. We could make it bigger though, we just havent had the issue of people not knowing the price in the past. That said this is a one click upgrade (where they dont need to input credit card details again, as they just had), and sometimes that creates confusion, which is never our intent - as we want all of our customers to have the best experience possible.

We have fully refunded ********, and she should see the funds in her account in the next 3-5 business days.

      Thank you!
