      Hello, RLI Insurance Company sold me Personal Umbrella Policy through Geico. Both companies did a poor quality job. Neither company asked the questions to verify who has to be covered by the policy, The result of this, they sold me an incorrect policy that does not cover my assets and does not provide any liability protection. Neither company has proper customer service in place. Representatives who charged my bank account for wrong coverage, don't understand how to apologize and refund the money to avoid any future issues. RLI holds the money for the policy that is not needed for my purposes. After I requested a complete refund, they paid it off partially. Again, they don't worry that they steal my time and money, and sell useless coverage that does not provide any protection at all. RLI company is very difficult to reach and nobody cares to provide the best customer experience. They mislead the customers to sell them the wrong product and after this, they have multiple excuses for how not refund the money they are not entitled into. I would not recommend them for a liability insurance policy.

      My representative received the initial ACV payment for my roof. They requested the undisputed depreciation payment from RLI. It has been more than the 30 calendar days within the HRS.

      04/04/22 - My representative submitted a Proof of Loss; We advised ***************** that we have met our obligations of the insurance contract by fulfilling our duties after loss. Now RLI must meet their duties of indemnity and to adhere to the statutory timelines regarding the handling of this claim. 04/20/22 - Geoff emailed In review of the documents provided RLI does not provide coverage for all items related to asbestos. This includes testing, mitigation work, and costs associated to comply with any ordinance or law. We will be sending you a formal declination for the asbestos related charges. As you are aware we have already paid the insured for what we feel is the value of the claim. We reviewed your estimate and disagree with the scope and thus value of the claim. As such we again ask that you refer to our letter requesting appraisal. 04/27/22 - It has been 17 working days and Geoff failed to respond to our concerns with reasonable promptness as required by HRS. My Proof of Loss has not been reviewed to date and he has not provided determination of coverage in a prompt manner.
