    There is a company Coconut funding that has constantly harassed us nonstop. I have repeatedly requested to be taken off this list to no avail. They are calling our business up to 40 times per day.

    I was seeking a business loan which I got approved. After receiving a funding call and listening to all the fees , I declined the offer. 2 weeks later I got a withdrawal of ******. I called the number to get to the bottom of the issue and I also called the representative and emailed back to back. No one responded. They stole from me.

    The post by this merchant does not tell the whole background of this transaction. Coconut Funding is in the business of providing capital to businesses throughout the country through themselves and/or other companies. In doing so, the company needs to review documentation, communicate with merchants, conduct informal background searches, research companies, communicate with other capital providers and many other things. This is labor intensive. Therefore, the company generally sends out documents which state among other things, in plain simple language, Irrespective of whether capital is received by Merchant, Merchant understands that the one-time capital placement fee is earned for all of the work that Coconut has done and will do regarding trying to find capital for the Merchant.

    I received a call from them who told me that they were going to refinance my current loans. They said they would deposit $6800 per week and I would pay back $163 per day plus $900 a week for renewal. On week 2 I called because I didnt get the deposit. They said I needed to sign the new contract renewal. When I looked at it, it said I would borrow $6800 back $34k. With a new daily payment double last weeks. When I inquired about this he then tells me they are lenders and I would be borrowing money from them weekly to pay off my other loans. I explained to him that thats not what we discussed and that I had recorded our previous conversations. He then hung up on me and sent me a number. I called the number and the person **** ******** immediately started cursing me out and I explained to him that I was sending the information to my state attorney generals office. He went ballistic. I recorded the calls then as well. He emailed me his bank wire information to pay back the money but would never tell me the amount. I tried contacting the law firm who he ccd on the email assuming they were his legal representatives but they cursed me out as well and stated they didnt know who he was though their email and contact information is listed on the email. Law firm claims to not have gotten any emails. All of this is a scam. I am reporting them to every government agency I can until they are brought to justice!

    I am rejecting this response because: Not only have I tried to reach out to them to pay them whatever they say but I also contacted the law firm **** ******** listed as their legal representation in the email thread who stated they do NOT represent him nor his company. I also recorded my conversation with his company representatives and with **** himself which he can not dispute! Theres no exaggeration on my part. I have no problem with paying but he is refusing to tell me what is owed or give me a letter of intent to cancel debt once it is paid. Both of which are illegal which is why I forwarded my complaint to *********************************. He could have simply gave me the amount owed and this would have been settled.

Further more they filed a frivolous lawsuit against my business stating we did not make payments even though we were the ones trying to pay them off but they refused to respond accordingly. Luckily we got an attorney involved which will cost us but will get this settled eventually.

    I took out a $10,000 loan for my business. They offered to roll in existing debts and bring everything down to a total daily payment of $23.32. This would save me quite a bit of money, so I agreed. They said that this would be accomplished by sending me a daily distribution to cover all the loan payments, minus the $23.32. After signing the documents for the original loan, and agreeing to the $499 daily payments under the understanding that they would be mostly absorbed by the daily distributions, they sent a contract for the distributions the next day. This contract adds somewhere in the neighborhood of $4000 in fees and interest per day for a total payout of about $700 per day. I did not agree to a $4000 increase to the loan each day, and now they are automatically debiting $499 per day from my account instead of the $23.32 that was originally promised. After reaching out to have this payment lowered, which is an option in my contract, they did not respond. The next day, I sent another email requesting to get this resolved immediately via email to have everything in writing. They called multiple times, which I declined and followed up with an email saying I would like everything in writing. They called from a different number that didn't show up on my caller ID, so I picked up. **** from Coconut funding introduced himself, and I informed him I will only communicate in writing to keep everything well documented. He then yelled at me over the phone, saying something along the lines of "no, that's not an option. I'm not playing your games" to which I promptly hung up. I then emailed and said that I would be open to text as well, but I want everything in writing. This issue has still not been resolved, and I notified them that I will pursue legal action if this is not rectified immediately. This was at approximately 3pm Eastern (they are based on the west coast), and I had not gotten any response for the rest of the day. Still no response.

My experience with this company has been nothing short of disastrous, and I strongly advise against doing business with them.Not only are they dishonest and deceitful, but they are also extremely disrespectful and insensitive towards individuals with special needs and disabilities. Their lack of empathy and understanding is appalling, and their behavior towards people with disabilities or those who have family members with disabilities is unacceptable.The representatives I dealt with were unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. They made promises they had no intention of keeping, and their communication was vague and misleading.     Coconut funding made a lending offer to loan $10000. Made a call to us to approve the loan, Even sent someone to our office. Promised to have the funds in our bank within a day. Then retracted the loan offer. Re offered To loan $4100 and pay back $10000 over 12 weeks. No way. then they charged us a fee and drafted our bank. Serious fraud. said we agreed to it in a funding call that they canceled

    I am rejecting this response because: This is totally unacceptable.  Promising someone who is seeking funding, then making the offer ridiculously impossible over 100% interest for just 60 days.  That's over 500% per year.  Is that even allowable?  I'm over 70 years old.  These guys make a real fast go over for their valuable time to try to make 500% interest plus a hard work fee.  REALLY?

    So, this guys called me 100 times before I submit my documents for loan, promising theyll give me a good deal etc. and have everything sorted out in couple of hours and send funds same day. Once I have submitted everything they went silent, I called later to ask what the status was and if I should still wait for an answer but salesman started complaining why I was calling and wasting his time and then transferred me to someone who just said I was denied and hung up.Its interesting that they value their time but not mine. I have an impression that this is a data harvesting and I have seen a bunch of complaints I wonder though how they keep A+ rating here when their customer service is a rock bottom. I have never been treated this rude. Im not a snowflake but just being rude to me and putting the words in my mouth like I was threatening them by going with someone else is not right, all I asked was hey guys you never updated me, so, should I still count on you or just try with someone else since day is gonna end soon.

    I reached out to Coconut Funding to receive a line of credit for my new business venture. At first, they seemed very wonderful and extremely communicative. That said, when I decided not to renew a second time I was met with very little communication. I had sent emails asking about what I still owed on my business loan. I had daily payments, and it seemed those were all going through and I was left with zero communication. I continued to reach out via email and each time I was met with zero response. I received an email completely separate from the emails I had already sent asking if I wanted to renew my financing, but zero response about what I still owed. The only time I received a response from this company was when I stated that if I didn't receive a response, I would contact the ************************ and ************************************ Then, I was met with hostility and they stated they would only speak with me on the phone. When I called, they told me what I owed and then hung up on me. This is extremely unprofessional. They stated that I threatened them, with the *** and CFPB, but mentioning them was the only way I received a response.

    This company contacted me in March 2023 via phone number said I was approved for a loan Im not sure how they got my number but they did I want to head and took it out and they called $950 before ever even trying to approve the loan or not they pulled that out and then gave me a loan or MCA for $20,000 they only deposited ****** into my account they then pulled $499 payments daily for ****************************************************************************************************************** that I stopped payments on my payments and demand that I wire the money I emailed back-and-forth stating that I never stopped payments and they said just sign this and make sure payments are going through so I signed another form fill out. Assign the other form so they can continue taking their ********************************************************************************************************** to wire them $899 I again emailed with a ************************* who I guess is the owner and claim that I did not stop payments I finally did stop payments after they had taken a total of 62 499 payments for my accounts I blocked them from my account and they have now seized any incoming funds from my PayPal they filed in ******** and I was never served so that I could defend myself and show proof of payment is coming out of my account that I had stopped payments and now are claiming I owe them more money. This company needs to be stopped. I do request that I am received back the fees that I had to pay for the ***** everything that they put a hold on her lean on and the judgment to be reversed in court.
