I am seeking a $225 refund for a $200 surcharge Oahu Cemetery applied to my brother's services (*****************) plus $25 for time and interest unrealized since they have been holding my money for over six months. I have been asking for a refund since Nov 2022. The services were held in Nov 2022. The $200 charge was for Saturday funeral services which the date was eventually changed to a weekday so the surcharge did not apply. When I emailed them to remind them to refund me, the contact person ****** said they needed to contact accounting (or some other ****** They do not deny that I am entitled to the refund. After a few more emails, I was informed that worker ****** quit and ****, Director of mortuary affairs, would be assisting me. Haven't heard from him since Feb 23 2023. I emailed again on 5/3/23 asking for a reply within 5 business days. No response. On 5/11//23 I emailed again since i didn't hear from anyone. The payment was made by credit card and I asked them to send me a check because the credit card bill is already paid.Business response

Please accept our apologies for the internal miscommunication regarding this matter. Neither of the former employees you mentioned apparently directed your concerns properly to the administrative department who would have refunded you immediately.
I have since reviewed your concerns and we will be issuing a refund by company check to the purchaser this week.
