On 12/29/23, I contacted Jabrieal ****** c/****** Coast ***************************** LLC to get a quote for HVAC/heating repairs. He came to my home on 12/30/23 to look at the unit and gave me an estimate of $2,376 for parts and $400 for labor. I agreed to the price, so he could begin the work. After leaving to get parts, ************** called me saying that he misquoted the price for parts and that he would take the loss because he had already gave me a price then asked for me to Zelle him $300 to purchase the parts. After installing the parts on my existing unit, he said that my furnace no longer worked and that I needed to replace it. However, it was working before he began work on it. He told me that he found a furnace for $900 and that I would need to Zelle him about $1100 for the furnace (900), cost of the store being opened after hours (100), and for tax (100). I sent him $1200 via Zelle. Later that night, he called to let me know that he was tired and would return in the morning to install the new furnace. He returned to my home on 12/31/23, with his son-in-law to install the furnace saying everything had been repaired. Needless to say, my home was still freezing to where I wasn't getting any heat, especially on the 1st floor. He suggested that I give 4-5 hours to let it warm up being that it is a new furnace. I said ok, and followed his advice while still freezing. The next day, I contacted ************** to inform him that it never warmed up on the 1st and he said that he was coming out that day. He came out again and the issue wasn't resolved. I asked him to send my invoice and warranty information on the new furnace which I never got the warranty information on the furnace and finally received the invoice a week and a half later. By the time I finally received the invoice ($3775.20), I had had already paid him $4600 via Zelle. I have called and texted ************** multiple times to discuss him refunding me the $824.80 and making the furnace repairs, now he is no longer responds.
